Stable & compact cabinet, perfect for 3D printing
My desk isn’t low quality, but its design amplifies vibrations. I had a Bambu P1S 3D printer on it, which looked great but turned the entire desk into a resonance chamber during prints. I bought this file cabinet as a new base and the P1S fits perfectly on top. It’s massively reduced vibrations and the separation from the desk isolates any remaining movement. Assembly was simple. The bottom drawer is spacious & the upper drawers work well for paper/stationery- they’re a bit on the small side, hardly an issue though. No lock mechanism- irrelevant for me, but worth noting. I know my use case is unorthodox, but this has proven veryyy effective. If it can handle a 3D printer shaking on it all day, the build quality is solid. Excellent value.

Looks much more expensive than it is!
Lovely piece of furniture. It comes flat packed but has the best instructions I have ever followed. The drawers slide easily and the unit is compact but holds a lot. I also doesn't look like a piece of office equipment.

Pretty but clunky.
Easy build, spacious and a great addition to my office. 4/5 stars because of the function of the bottom drawer. Seems to stick, and the addition wheel does not seem to aid the use, only make it stiffer.

Cannot recommend
I usually don’t write reviews but this product is unfortunately absolutely terrible! Some screws don’t properly fit but they are so soft that you can’t remove them either. The boards seem very soft inside as well as it is very easy to distort the holes trying to fit the screws. I have built a lot of furniture these last few years and never encountered anything like this. I had to abandon it and throw it all away as a file cabinet needs to be able to hold a lot of weight. It’s a real shame as it looks very good.

Just what we needed for our computer room for documents love the oak finish fits in with the rest of the room

Feels as cheap as the price
Well I guess you get what you pay for. It was cheap, and it feels it. Not very sturdy, and some of the lamination on the wood was damaged. You'll need a drill for the assembly as dimensional accuracy is a bit off. For something having occasional use in the spare room, it is adequate - but you really would want this if you are using it regularly.
