These new Sparta door handles combine an attractive appearance with outstanding performance. Universal handing ensures left or right handed fitting. Manufactured by Trojan to an extremely high standard, these ergonomic door handles provide a comfortable grip and are designed to compliment the Sparta suite of window handles, door hinges and a letter plates. Be sure that it fits Not all handles fit all multi-point mechanisms. The crucial measurement is the PZ of the handle (see A in diagram). Before ordering check:- * Distance from the centre of spindle to the centre of cylinder barrel (see A in diagram) * Distance between fixing screws (see F in diagram) * Spindle width (see E in diagram) This handle measures:- * Centre of spindle to centre of cylinder barrel = 92mm (92 PZ) * Distance between fixing screws = 122mm * Spindle width = 8mm A = 92mm (92pz) - Centres (spindle to cylinder hole) B = 212mm - Back plate height (overall) C = 35mm - Back plate width D = 12mm - Back plate depth E = 8mm - Spindle width F = 122mm How to fit the sprung cassette The handle is supplied with the spring cassette not attached to the handle mechanism. It needs you to unseat it, and attach it to the handle to make it work. Note the way the cassette is sat in the handle, in the attached pictures
