Bachelor Party [1984] [DVD]

We love this one it’s a classic film.

Though early on in his film career, it still seems unlikely that Tom Hanks would not be the star of any movie he graces, though his performance is matched by a superb supporting cast. Adrian Zmed is superlative as O'Neill, the Best Man any Groom would love to have, whilst the Bride's ex-boyfriend, Cole (Robert Prescott), is the epitomy of smarm as the comic baddie! I first saw this film about 10 years ago, and it hasn't aged. If you forgive the 80's hair, questionable dress-sense, and dated (but still cool) soundtrack, this comedy classic can still cut it with the modern-day capers like Road Trip and Old School.

One of Tom Hanks' earliest and funniest films that harks back to the madcap comedies of the past. The sort 'they don't make anymore', it's strictly adult humour, so not one for the kiddies.

So pleased I managed to find this DVD, it's definitely a reminder from old and it's just as funny as I hoped it would be. Just confirms what a great and diverse actor Tom Hanks is.

Good film

Ha! I remember watching this at the flicks as a double bill in 1984 with Revenge of the Nerds. At the time I thought it was hilarious but now it is chiefly a nostalgia item. Lots of big hair and electronic music. Tom Hanks as a mere lad and Adrian Zmed when he was still famous from T J Hooker. Most of the humour is sex related and it all seems at bit forced and frenetic. Having said that I enjoyed my trip down Memory Lane and it certainly wasn't any worse than some modern comedy offerings I've seen recently.

I watched this over and over back in the 80's/90's on video, and I was pleased to find it's just as hilarious as I remember it. Now, of course, it has the added humour of seeing all the 80's fashions as well. If you liked The Hangover, you'll probably also like this.

Remember this from my teens even thought it's not a coming of age film it definitely helped me come of age i can tell you that.

Una película de las mejores que he visto por mucho en particular supera comedias hechas del 2000 en adelante lo mejor de todo viene con extras habladas en inglés y sin subtítulos la película viene en idioma inglés y español pero español latino y eso me puso más feliz porque me hizo recordar Cuando la vi por primera vez si te quieres divertir y pasar un buen rato Esta es una buena opción y el precio es inmejorable porque es bluray

pochi euro per tornare giovane, quando mi divertivo come un matto con niente!! nel suo genere (comicità surreale) è un capolavoro, anche se i cultori del cinema vero (Fellini, Antonioni, Bergman, Visconti) sicuramente non saranno d'accordo, però a casa abbiamo passato una serata in allegria...
