Purchased on the recommendation from my chiropractor. He has one in his office and I need one to use at home for my back. The surface is a little soft but it doesn’t seem that there is any give after the first 1/8 inch of the surface. I think it will work fine for me. For a young fitness buff it might not be what they want but for older, arthritic conditions, I think it will be fine . The fact that my chiropractor had the same thing in his office says a lot for me. I got the 18” because the ad stated 18” for back. I don’t think the 24” would be too long but the 18” appears adequate for my needs

Purchased this because my recliner does not support correctly at my ankles. I wanted something soft for gentle support. Will use it behind my back for extra support. Do you have a product that I can use for my legs that is softer and will not cut off circulation? Please advise.

I bought this for home use as part of a program of physical therapy I was doing for a torn meniscus. Construction quality is good, and the foam is stiff enough so that it doesn’t just squash flat when I put my full weight on it.

I got it to stretch my spine out, so it does serve its purpose, but know that it is hard as rock. I would prefer a little give!

Great for lumbar support

I guess medium firm means FIRM. I have a black full sphere one that is REALLY firm (way too firm) and one bag one that’s so soft it is like just a pillow that collapses under my weight, and was hoping this would be in the middle, but it’s definitely on the firmer side. I think I got the 18 inch and wow is it small! Definitely too small to lay it vertically from my tail bone to my head which was my goal, but my fault for not thinking more about the size before ordering, I guess. Maybe if I put some pillows down for my head it might work. I will probably keep it for calf stretches and it works okay for laying horizontally across shoulders to stretch the upper spine. Meh, would have bought another but this is fine if the size works for you and you’re going for pretty firm with very little give.

Great for plantar fasciitis stretching and stretching in general. My daughter loves to use it to stretch for dance. Good quality and arrived quickly.

Great length for back exercises. I use it to do back and shoulder loosening exercises, and it is just long enough to support my hips and my head. It’s firm without being too rigid/painful. My PT also uses this same type in her office.

I really this half foam roller as a tool to help support spinal curve and posture when stretching. Solid firmness but not totally uncomfortable.

This foam roller is not soft density foam as indicated but rather very hard, cheap package grade foam!! Very disappointed especially given the price!
