The Kleenguard A60 microporous film laminate bloodborne pathogen and splash protection coverall with hood is a disposable single-piece protective garment made with a breathable, microporous film laminate to help protect against pathogens in blood or other potentially infectious materials, and some s in the form of dry particulates or liquid splash. The material passes ASTM International F1670/F1671 testing for penetration of blood and bodily fluids, and resists penetration of particles 0.3 microns and larger. This coverall features an attached hood with an elastic face opening to cover the wearer's head and neck. It has elastic cuffs for a tight fit at the wrists and ankles, elastic across the back to improve fit, and a front zipper to facilitate donning. The zipper is covered with a taped storm flap to reduce exposure. The seams are serged for reinforcement and fray resistance, and located on the back of the coverall for seamless protection in the primary areas of potential exposure. The garment material has three layers: the outer layers are made of cloth-like spunbond polypropylene to help protect the microporous film layer from tearing and abrasion.
