Product description ------------------- This Water Clear Epoxy Resin system is specially formulated for applications including casting, moulding & embedding. It is ideal as a table-top/ counter resin. It is optically clear and has good UV resistance giving with negligible shrinkage on curing. This particular resin has a long pot life with LOW exotherm giving minimal shrinkage. The resin comes as a 2 part resin and is mixed by WEIGHT at a ratio of 2 to 1 resin to hardener. Like most resin sytems temperature and correct mixing vastly affects the curing process and can affect the cure time. Therefore the resin is not suitable for use less than 18 Deg C. This issue can be worked around with Low voltage Heat matts ( such as Reptile heat matts ) which will allow a cure at the correct temperature. Features: Optically clear UV stable Polishable to a high gloss Low viscosity Long Pot life Easily pigmented.
