Exactly as described, very good quality. The backer plate is well made and fits any standard drill. I've used the fine grit sandpaper and it held up well. This is perfect for small jobs and detail work.

I bought this mostly for the mandrel and not so much for the sanding disks. The mandrel works very well with my cordless drill. It is actually two pieces. The basic mandrel is a small foam rubber mount with hook/loop. This is relatively firm and would work well for certain situations. Then there is a soft spongy foam pad with hook/loop on both sides that is more compliant and better for other uses. The complaint I have is with the disks, though. I was using this to sand an inside-out turning on my lathe. I used 5 different grits. On two of them, the edge of the abrasive layer of the disk caught one of the openings of the piece and large pieces ripped off. So basically the construction quality of the disks is sub-par. Also, not all of the disks have the grit number on them. I assume this is because they were die-cut from a larger sheet and some of them just happened to be cut between the stamped numbers.

These sanding disc worked perfectly to sand down a rocking chair and get it ready to paint you get quite a few of the disc and I’ve got a lot that I have not used yet so I would definitely buy these again the value value and price go together.

Maybe I am using it for the wrong thing. It didn't work for what I needed but maybe if I used it on a different tool instead of a drill it would work.

Lots of different grits which was handy and each one lasts a reasonable amount of time. They tend to wear out on the side and fall off but pretty good for the cost.

These are great. I was able to use the whole setup on my drill but these sandpaper pads also fit my robert sorby bowl sander so I used them on a combination of both items to sand a bowl to a extremely smooth finish at 3000 grit. Was a great price with quite a few levels of grit so it’s a fabulous pack for any woodworker.

I was very happy to see that each grit of sandpaper was sealed in individual grits. Worked really well on drill.
