100% effective -- and not just for pet odors & stains
I board dogs in my home and have used this product on almost a daily basis for many years. For any dog "accident" I don't bother with any kind of cleaner at all, I just wipe up the mess with paper towels and then use Advanced Nature's Miracle to "clean" the area. On hard surface floors I use one spray and paper towels to wipe up any remaining urine or fecal matter, another spray and wipe to remove any possible leftovers, and a 3rd light spray that I let dry on the floor. There is never any dog-odor in my home. I use it on hardwood floors, a vinyl floor and porcelain tile. I also use it successfully on carpet spots -- first blot up as much of the mess as possible, then saturate the area with ANM, and let sit a few minutes, then blot all the wetness up with a lot of paper towels folded up -- you can stand on them to help wick up the moisture. I've taken up some pretty hellacious stains very successfully with this product. Sometimes it takes multiple applications of saturating and blotting on carpeting, but I've never had a stain or odor I couldn't get rid of. Most recently I used it in a situation that I thought was hopeless and ANM still worked. I live in an old home in a semi-rural area. When the weather was humid there was a smell in a lower level bedroom I couldn't get rid of and it turned out many generations of mice had set up housekeeping inside the wall between the drywall and the foundation. The foundation was half-height in this room (with the windows at ground level), so there was a shelf built on top of the foundation half-wall that ran the length of the outside wall and it turned out that the original construction technique provided a "super-highway" for the mice to run on top of the foundation and drop down between ALL the studs, not just one spot. We had to remove all the drywall and I was horrified to discover the mice had been living there for decades. It took that long for the accumulated mouse-urine smell to finally permeate the drywall. The filth they left behind was overwhelming. We removed and threw out all the drywall. What remained was the concrete foundation and the wooden studs that would hold up the drywall. The fecal matter and urine were caked like pools of dried tar on both horizontal and vertical surfaces of both the wood and concrete. It was a daunting project, but I really didn't want to burn the house down and start over. I scraped off what I could with a putty knife and then working with a small section at a time, I'd thoroughly spray with Advanced Nature's Miracle, scrub like the dickens with a stiff brush, then blot up the disgusting mess with paper towels and repeat the process. At the end of the day I sprayed the entire concrete and wood surface until saturated and left it over night to dry. The next day I repeated the entire process. It was a lot of work, but in the end I had pretty much eliminated the mouse odor altogether. You couldn't smell it when you walked into the room and could only get a faint whiff if you put your nose right up to the wood. The wooden studs that had appeared almost black with mouse-waste now appeared to look like normal wood for the most part. I didn't know how deep into the wood I could get the ANM to penetrate, but I was very satisfied with the point we had reached and I thought a couple of coats of primer would finish the job. I put a fan on it and dried it thoroughly for a few days. After that I applied 3 coats of Kilz Maximum primer, letting it dry 24 hours between coats. At the end of this ordeal, there was absolutely no bleed through on the primer and there was not the faintest trace of mouse leftover. The foundation and studs were hospital-white and everything smelled clean and fresh. An absolutely amazing transformation. Advanced Natures Miracle works - but you have to follow the directions. Sometimes it takes some elbow grease to help it work, but it is effective if you allow it to saturate whatever is holding the odor so it can do its job. Sometimes you have to repeat the process -- but if you want to end up with a clean, fresh space afterwards, Advanced Nature's Miracle is definitely the product to use.

Wonderful effective product
I was really surprised at any negitive reviews on this product. I can see how the scent would be a little strong for some, but I really like it. I guess it is a little strong at first, but much much better than urine or feces scent :) I run a kennel and have about 10 dogs (indoor dogs) running my house. Yes they are doggy door trained, but there are accidents that I don't notice until it is too late and dried. This product works wonders. For the first week you apply it you will be able to smell the urine in the air if it is really strong or lots in the carpet. Once it has dried you should smell no urine at all, however if soiled badly enough...it could need a 2nd or 3 red application. Most of the time 2 application will work with dog urine. If the urine is still wet, sop it up with a rag or paper towel as much as possible and then one application of the product will generally work. If the urine is old and dried and wasn't sopped up....then I generally think it will take two applications. Usually if I can smell urine in the air after it gets wet...it just reminds me how much urine is really in my carpet. I truly believe those that are talking about the foul smell after applying this product has much much more urine in there carpet than they believe they do. This product absolutely works and works very well, however if you have A LOT of urine you will need to apply 3 even 4 applications to get it compeltely removed and this needs to be done after each application has 100% dried which honestly can take up to 2 weeks if it has soaked into the pad and flooring (which it should if you want to get all the urine odor out)....I can also say that after the first application the yellow marks may still be there so I will always spray the top of the carpet and rub with a clean rag and it will always take the discoloration out, but it wont always take the discoloring out just by pooring on, sometimes you have to rub the carpet with another application to get the staining out. If used properly this is a wonderful and very effective product.

This works great on cat urine stains!
There is no other pet stain and odor product I have tried that works like this one does. I have 2 cats, and while they are well behaved and trained now, they both came to me with terrible bladder infections as kittens, and they couldn't help but pee themselves. This product was a lifesaver, it neutralized any of the smell and staining, I would blot up the excess urine, then thoroughly wet the area with this product, making sure to soak the rug down to the padding, I'd let it sit a bit, about 5 minutes, before using my steam cleaning unit to extract the liquid, working until it was barely damp. I'd then let the area dry, and once it was dry, there was no smell, no staining, and the cats never bothered the spots or resoiled them. I had tried 2 other more expensive products that were recommended to me by my local pet store, but one left the stains, and the other was like trying to use water, it left both stains and smell. I currently use this product as part of my litterbox cleaning toolkit, it really does help clean and deodorize the box. I use it after I've emptied and disinfected the box, I liberally soak it in this then let it sit a few minutes before rinsing and drying it. It smells like new, and the box is now well over a year and half old! I've had people come into my apartment and if they hadn't seem my cats or my litterbox, they'd have never have known I had them, in part due to this product helping me with odor.

Works as described, important to follow directions completely
I have three senior cats that are prone to incidents near their boxes once in a while. I have been using Natures Miracle products for a number of years, mostly with great success. I have learned through many trials, as well as advice from other users of the products, that following the directions for these products is the KEY to achieving successful removal of the odors and stains. My carpets are low pile, in a multi-colored neutral so stains are not very evident to the naked eye. However, odors are very noticeable and in order to remove them with this product, I really have to soak the entire affected area (branching out to the surrounding area for any accidents that absorbed outwards in the padding underneath). Where I have not been successful has been because I would attempt to soak up the product after a day or so in order to speed the drying of the carpet. It is VERY important that once the area has been treated, that the enzymes in the formula be allowed to evaporate on their own. The smell actually gets worse as this happens but I have learned that this is its process. Only when I allow the carpet/padding/etc. to COMPLETELY dry on its own, does the odor successfully go away. I have also used this in rental units that my family owns after tenants with pets have moved out. In one particular case, a tenant kept their litter box in a pantry with linoleum flooring. They had cleaned and scrubbed the floor but the odor remained. I doused the floor in Natures Miracle (it seeped down along the cracks with the linoleum and wall meet). By doused, I seriously poured enough for it to puddle on the floor. I left the door to the pantry open to increase the air circulation and within a few days, the odor had completely dissipated and new tenants as well as neighbors I had asked opinions of could not smell any signs of previous pet odors. I have used the advanced formula, the cat urine only formula, and the original formula...and I cannot say with confidence whether there is much of a difference but I have definitely had success with this Advanced formula many times and based on my experience that you need to use quite a bit to cover and treat an area, as well as the fairly hefty price tag, I would rather use the best option the first time, so I don't have to repeat the process. I would definitely recommend either the Natures Miracle Advanced Stain & Odor or the Natures Miracle Just for Cats formula (if you are attempting to remove cat odors).

Questionable company, but good product
I don't like the fact that this company plays a bit of a shell game with their products. They've got at least three varieties that all purport to do the same thing, yet they are sold separately, priced differently, and come in different sizes and configurations (small bottles, huge jugs, sprayer and non sprayer). You can see this with other companies that try to increase revenue stream by taking one solid product and trying to make it into several. Clorox has made bleach-- and only bleach-- for years, but now they are making cleaning products that have no bleach and nothing to do with bleach because it's profitable. The reason I mention all this is that I've spent over $100 in products from Nature's Miracle and this was the only product that worked. For years, I used their standard bottle of "Nature's Miracle" right after catching urine stains from my dog. It always seemed to work well. But recently my dog has been secretly peeing in a few areas so I've only found out about it hours or even days later-- sometimes still wet, sometimes already dry. For those stains and odors (really it's the odors), I needed something more. The standard "Nature's Miracle" didn't do anything. The "Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer" didn't do much better. This "Nature's Miracle Advanced" actually did work. It took a week or two to really do it's stuff, but I can now have people in the room where my dog peed three or four times (she's losing continence as she gets older), and they cannot tell there's any smell of urine. I wish this company would stop with the nonsense. In my opinion, this is the only formula they should be selling because it's the only one that works. If it works on old stains/odors, it'll work on new stains/odors.

Got rid of cat pee smell
I bought a house that reeked of cat pee on hardwood floors that were underneath the carpet and in the basement on the cement floor. I followed some directions online for fumigated that involved using vinegar instead of bleach followed by this stuff. It was so bad in the basement that we had to do two treatments of the vinegar and this stuff, but well worth it. In the basement I literally poured vinegar everywhere, put clear painters tarp overnight, squeegeed it into the drain, poured a layer of this stuff, put tarp down overnight, squeegeed into the drain, and repeated one more time for both. The smell is gone for good, and this was a huge part of the treatment. I used thus regular advanced formula for the first round of fumigated, but still had a slight smell left. So the second round I ordered was the version that says "just for cats", but can't say there was necessarily a difference. They both got the job done from what I could tell. I just got whichever version because it was the advanced formula version and happen to have a better price at the time of ordering. I guess it's possible I could have only needed 1 round of treatment if I used just the "just for cats" type, but I really think they're probably the same formula. One jug came cracked when ordering this item and half had leaked out during shipment all over the box, but Amazon promptly took care of the issue and resent a new jug. I don't suggest repetitive use on hardwood floors. Once or twice is not an issue, but my parents use this stuff almost daily and it has stripped away the protective finish and started to strip away the coloring of the wood. I didn't really notice the idea of it removing stains. It may have, but I probably should have taken before/after photos to really pay attention to that. My main priority was getting rid of the smell.

Worked GREAT to also prevent Re-Markinh
I fell in love with their original formula, which seems to be far less effective than before. I tried other products which did NOT prevent new messes.. So I broke down and got this formula and my pup has stopped messing in the house (an occasional small accident but Not to the same extent). Just wish the Original formula worked as well without having to upgrade for normal messes caught immediately 😕 But this one is Well worth the cost! Even Better than Any Odoban (which is NOT effective to prevent re-marking).

An Absolute Must for Anyone With a Young Pet
I purchased this product because, like all of us, have an animal that unfortunately used some part of our home as their toilet. Before getting Nature's Miracle, we used to use a product called XO Odor Neutralizer. For the most part it worked, but would leave a less than desirable chemical smell masked with an odd fragrance, and sometimes after it wore off we could smell the lingering odor of set-in urine stains. With Nature's Miracle it worked great on old stains and new stains. The odor is quite pleasant and doesn't sting your nostrils after using it. We would pour a generous amount of the stuff on any spots that he'd have an accident on and we would forget it ever happened because there would be no lingering odors. I would also highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing this product to do it through Amazon because it is much more affordable. I checked a majority of my local pet stores and most of them sold the 1 gallon container of Nature's Miracle for at least $30. Whereas, I purchased the same product on Amazon for a fraction of the price at around $11 to $13 a gallon. All in all, fantastic odor neutralizing product for all your animal accident needs!

Controls urine brilliantly.
This product is really good for keeping my home clean from urine. It’s not cheap, but it does the job and that’s crucial. Hope this helps.

Haven't tried this yet; bought it as a refill ...
Haven't tried this yet; bought it as a refill for the non-advanced stuff. However, I'm reviewing it already with two stars off, just because of the smell. It really stinks, even in the unopened bottle :( One of those strong chemical smells that catches your throat and makes you wonder if you're even safe inhaling it.

Not the same as in the spray bottle!
This arrived in good time and well packed but the contents was not the same as I had before in the spray bottles I had from Amazon twice befor! I do not think it works as well and the smell is not the same. This is a shame as I did like the smell and action of the mix in the spray, the 1gal was cheaper so I ordered that.
