Well made and works well on freshwater fish
This lure is very well made. Nice big, sharp hooks. Nice clear concave head produces great action. First time using this lure I caught a 40" northern pike. And, two smaller pike and a largemouth bass. It is heavy lure and can be casted very far, yet, stays on the surface as expected. I think the weight actually allows me to cover more water. Definitely a great buy.

These are great for bonita and yellowtail. Just tie some yellow feathers on the hook with red thread.

Looks good, pops good and throws a lot of water
For a popper with not a wide mouth, i'm surprised by the amount of water it throws. It throws more water than some of the bigger mouth poppers I have. This do not flip easily so you can make long sweeps of the rod with it to get a big pop and swim.I haven't caught anything on it so far (haven't on any of the other poppers of late either) so I can't judge it in that regard as yet. But I definitely like what it does in the water and it's hook, split rings and construction looks good. It's a really good buy for the price!!EDIT: I have caught fish on it now. Caught mostly Horse Eye Jacks on it. Had a good Barracuda hooked on it as well. The split rings on it is very durable. I've had this over a year now, fishing saltwater haven't had to change out the split rings. I've opened them to change hooks a few times and they haven't lost shape either. Also casts very good too!
