EMODA 5 Inch Box Spring Queen Size Mattress Foundation with Fabric Cover

I was honestly impressed with this box spring! It was easy to put together, and everything fit together nicely. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and supportive, and I love that it doesn’t take up a ton of space. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for something affordable that you can assemble yourself. Would definitely recommend!

This thing is exactly what we needed. I recently bought a nice queen sized bed and nightstand that was made in Mexico. it has a rustic look to it but is sturdy and looks nice. The issue is it only has three slats that screw into the side rails, so it expects you to use a foundation / box spring with your mattress. I initially put six cedar fence pickets across the slats so I could lay the mattress down, and ordered this. My daughter and I put it together in about 15 minutes. It's lightweight but very strong. My daughter put all the corner screws into it and she put the smooth heads on the inside instead of the outside. Don't do that. I think the nuts and screw-ends may eventually wear holes through the cover, but it doesn't move much so I'm sure it will be fine until we have to disassemble and move it in a few months. When we reassemble it at the new house I'll make sure to flip the screws so that the smooth screw heads are on the outside. The Amazon robot recommended a bunky board to go on top of this, under the mattress, but it is completely un-necessary. The foundation holds the mattress perfectly fine without a bunky board. I think the robot was just trying to get me to spend more money.

The Emoda 5 inch Twin Box Spring is a fantastic box spring. It comes in a little box and you do have to assemble it. The appearance of this box spring is the same as traditional wood box springs. Did I mention this box spring is metal? It is very durable there is not any noise at all compared to traditional wood box springs. The one I purchased has a low profile ( 5") but you can get the desired height that you want. There are various heights to choose from. There were not any missing parts and it was quite easy to assemble. Be careful when installing the metal slats that distribute weight across the box spring some have to be tapped quite hard to insert them. I recommend using a socket and ratchet as well as an Allen set for installation. With all the nuts and bolts, this will save you some time and head aches. The provided tools will work, but it is a very slow process tightening everything. This is a very good purchase for the money, I would recommend this product or purchase it again if I needed too.

No complaints so far. I ordered the full size box spring. I was apprehensive after reading some reviews that mentioned parts not fitting, and squeaky noises (I'm a very light sleeper). But I put it together by myself , quite easily, all the parts were in the box and everything fit together fine. My spouse and I sleep on it every night, our kids come flying in and land on it like superman without any squeaking or creaking. We haven't had any issues with bowing or bending and it's been a few weeks now. It does say in the advertisement that you have to support it in the center, maybe others didn't and that lead to bowing? So far we are happy with it. I will update if anything changes.

simple but physically demanding assembly makes this purchase difficult to recommend.

Easy to assemble. Very strong. Perfect height for a 14" mattress that makes it level to get into bed without stepping upward. I like the easy cover that just tucks over corners like a fitted sheet. Should last forever.

the price is very well noted . Was missinf a bolt and nut , good thing they provide one extra The directions for assembly is not simplified very well with just diagrams even though marked in pattern and coded correct. It does need its own wood slats to set on, due to siding very easy and around within the bed rails could fall off bed rail without slats other than minor stuff it is great

I have to admit that I was skeptical that this frame would be sturdy enough for me and my new mattress. The mattress weighs over 130lbs and I'm over 250lbs. That said, it went together very easily. I had it built in under an hour, on my Ikea bed frame with about a half inch of space on each side. I put a piece of 1/2 inch adhesive weather stripping in the gap on each side and it's perfect. I mean perfect. Does not creak, does not move. It's waaaay better than those cheap Ikea slats and the price is right. It's been a few weeks of sleeping and absolutely no issues. Highly recommend.

Very good box spring and my husband had it together quickly. I love that this box spring will be easy to clean and has no sharp corners. The cover was super easy to put on and there is no noise with the box spring whatsoever. I highly recommend this box spring.

Assembly was a breeze. It fit my bed frame perfectly. After really tightening every bolt as hard as possible the box spring does squeak a small amount but compared to my old wood box spring this is a night and day improvement. If I ever need to move it I can disassemble it and fit it in my vehicle with ease. Highly recommend!

Great quality! Good price!

This took hours to put together. There were no instructions, the accompanying tools were already opened and placed in a bag. This was clearly a returned item. The slots were too narrow and required heating the metal to pull apart. There is no middle floor support and required creative intervention to not buckle in from the weight of mattress. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
