Collection Men's Watch W-217H

The Casio F91w is a classic in the watch world, sold in the millions and previously worn by presidents and terrorists alike. However, if you have a larger wrist (mine is 7.5"), then it's a bit too small and can look like a kid's watch when worn. The Casio W217h is the bigger brother of that classic of the watch world, with a larger case and longer strap, but retaining the original retro styling of the F91w. In terms of features, minimalist is the word. It has time/day/date, then a single alarm setting, and stopwatch. You can set an hourly chime and choose between 24hr clock, and that's it. But isn't there something nice and simple about that in this day and age, as opposed to a smartwatch that does a million things and beeps endlessly with notifications and needs charging every day? Less is more sometimes, and this watch does everything you need it to. The display is clear with large digits, and the backlight is excellent, making the display glow orange in the dark, which is pretty cool. The styling is retro and though the F91w probably is slightly better looking overall due to it's slimness, this watch looks much better when worn than the photos suggest, so will grow on you. It's robust enough that you can use it as a daily beater without worrying about damaging it due to the low cost, and is so light you forget you are wearing it. I own a number of watches including more expensive ones, but this one ends up on my wrist the most and it can't be faulted for the money. The Casio B650 is the silver stainless steel version which I ended up buying too as I liked the design so much, and that is also an excellent choice if you want something slightly different.

A classic vintage style watch with a very readable screen. It looks like a 1980s eBay find, but is bang up to date with a good backlight and 50m water resist. The alarm is loud enough but no snooze. Everything is simple to use and its like a f91w for 2024. The gold trim looks really nice. I love it and I am a bit OCD about my watches. Alarm, 100th second stopwatch, hourly time signal, 12 or 24 hour display. Very light with reasonable strap. Buy it!

This is a review of model W-217H-1AVEF (the black/grey one rather than the black/orange one). The black/orange one has a tinted LCD and the back-light is not as good; I didn't like the black/orange model that I bought from Argos, so I took it back and bought this one from Amazon instead. The watch is basically a larger, and better, F91W: it's more waterproof, you can see it at night with the back light, the beeps are louder, the strap is a bit longer and looks easier to swap out than the F91W. It's like Casio decided to pimp their best selling, longest production run, famous watch and came up with this one. The light of the W-217H-1AVEF (the black/grey model) is really a lot better than the other model: it shines through the LCD giving a negative display at night. The black/orange version (W-217H-9AVEF) does not do this but rather just shines on the LCD. It's pretty accurate. The specs say +/- 30 seconds a month, but mine is about 4 seconds fast after over 2 weeks. You'll be very unlucky if you buy any Casio that turns out to be near the spec limit; I've never been that unlucky with any Casio. Good watch that does what you need and will probably survive any apocalypse.

Great watch, it has alarm and chronometer. Perfect fit! Good illumination! Recommend!

Classic, resin digital watch. This model is certainly worth the extra few quid over the F-91w. The case is larger, the strap more robust and the display much bigger and clearer. The back light is a vast improvement over it's cheaper cousin too being full, bright and even. A classic in it's own right and an excellent, budget watch. Good time keeper and comfortable to wear too. Recommended.

So this has been billed a modern replacement for casios f91w, which cannot be beaten on value and has fantastic accuracy. This watch is a fantastic 'beater' which you can wear knowing it can take a whack, knock or drop (even into water). The digital time is large and clear, the backlight is bright and readable in the dark and it feels comfortable enough so that I know im wearing it, but its not weighty as you might consider a watch this size to be. Thoroughly happy with it and have it now on a military green nato strap, looks and feels nice, accurate and readable. You won't be disappointed

If you have a bigger wrist and the F91-W looks tiny on it then this watch is basically just a bigger version. Apart from size the only real differences are a much better back light, 50m water resistance, and larger display digits. Case colours are the same but the button configuration is different although functions are identical to the F91-W. The strap is much longer on the W-217H, probably a good 1" or more longer and wider by about 2mm. Couldn't find this watch locally to me in the UK so had to get it from Amazon US and it was delivered 5 days earlier than quoted. A good watch if you want a slightly beefed up F91-W.

I just wanted a low cost time piece that also gave the day and date, and a built in light to check the time in the dark. Purrrfect. It's also a genuine bit of retro as a bonus. As timeless as it is useful. Well pleased with the Casio. PS. Yes, the strap is quite looooong. Although I don't have a thick wrist this hasn't caused me a problem.

Bellissima, mi piace moltissimo

Veio de acordo com imagem e descrição, chegou antes do prazo e veio bem embalado.

Casio tem muita qualidade, não há muito o que dizer sobre

ممتازة جدااااا

Pila de larga duración y reloj de batalla . Es un poco más grande que el clásico lo que marca la diferencia.
