AGM Jack Rod Support Bar – 3.5 Ton Locking Bar

I bought one Jack Rod and used it in changing oil on my son's Chevy Cruze. It's nice, jack the car up, place the jack rod, and no struggle finding a place for a separate jack stand. I used a 2x4 wheel crib for the other side. I decided to get another jack rod (I actually have 3 floor jacks) and changed oil on an Accord and a WRX using two. Really nice using the jack point on unibody cars for jacking and safe support. These are really solid built with heavy steel nicely welded and finish coated. I felt very safe with these. Watch videos on YouTube, these are well worth the money, your safety is priceless. Added on 20240405 - what I found frustrating about the available product information was the min 8 inch length and max 14 inch length. What does that mean for actual jack height? I hope these actual measurements from my two different jacks in my garage help. Jack heights based on rod length settings Arcan 3000 Jack - 12 inch height with Jack rod minimum of 8 inches, 16 inch height with Jack rod maximum of 14 inches. Maximum height of 18.5 inches would need 17 inch Jack rod. Daytona long reach low profile - 12 inch height with Jack rod minimum of 8 inches, 18 inch height with Jack rod maximum of 14 inches. Maximum height of Jack at 24.25 inches would use 24 inch Jack rod XL at maximum.

Beyond impressive. Worth every bit of $110. When you hold it and see the build quality, you'll understand. Expert welds, excellent fit and function of the components. E.g. not too much lateral play in the sliding portion, but not so tight that it binds. Same with the locking lever. Main arm material is heavy and obviously very strong. Everything about the tool shouts "high quality." I don't know where it's made, but it certainly doesn't feel like made in China- seems American.

Had to replace my control arms and engine mounts and this tool was so handy. I wanted an additional measure of safety when jacking up the engine and glad I found this. Finished the job and very happy with how the support bar helped during the process.

Works really well and very handy to have as a backup. Especially with so many new cars not leaving you room to put a jack stand under it because it's designed by people who have never worked on a car before. Wish it wasn't quite as expensive as it is but not being crushed or damaging your car by putting the jack stand in a spot that it isn't supposed to be is worth the money.

Super easy to use and super sturdy much better than relying on jack stands now I just use them as an additional backup

I am a mobile mechanic. We all know we're supposed to use jack stands and not rely solely on the jack to hold the vehicle up. With that being said, we're all guilty of doing it anyway. It can be a pain finding a spot to slip the jack stand it with the jack in place and sometimes we just get lazy. This is absolutely genius though and why it took this long for a product like this to be made is crazy!! This solves so many problems, especially for a mobile mechanic such as myself. The only thing that is a bit of a pain is that sometimes you have to either jack up the car higher or lower the jack a bit to get the holes to line up to stick the pin through. Not really a problem, but just something to be aware of. I was so excited to try this product and it works flawlessly. You feel safer, you're not relying solely on the jack, you don't have to find another spot to put the stand, and your jack doesn't have to constantly take the weight, which also extends the life of the jack. Pure genius!! Also, if you get the extension thing from harbor frieght, where it screws onto the jack pad and the arms extend out allowing you to lift a whole side of a vehicle, the product is even more useful. No more finding a spot for a jack stand and this is easily one of my favorite products I've purchased this year!!!

Expensive for what it is but brilliant bit of kit, will be buying second one as it would complement the second Jack as can do MoT both wheels off ground safely.

Awesome idea, the product is very easy to use and sturdy. The customer service is alright and the return it’s very convenient if needed. I just find the product overpriced

Works very well. Worth it to step up to the 3.5T as it’s the same size and pricing isn’t much more then the lower rated unit.
