This little vax is powerful stuff, it really works on small or larger areas. It takes a bit of elbow grease but it's a good little cleaner, and I decided to spread the payments on Amazon which I didn't know was possible. Once the option came up I had to go for it to see how it works, and I've got a couple of months payment left. No extra interest charged. I know it works on some stains such as tea, battery, etc but so far no success in removing dried in hair dye stains. I bought it when I saw my son measuring up a section of carpet to cut ✂️ out on the floor. He said it was too stained and he wanted to replace it and I thought 😱😱 so I suggested a carpet cleaner. Before using it for the first time, I also bought a Rug Doctor Heavy Stain Pre Treatment, squirt that on the stains for 10 mins then fill the Vax spotwash cleaner with the required amount of water and solution and even myself was surprised at how clean it got those stains out, including black ink stains - pen and marker, food and drinks stains and all sorts of gunge he had in his room. I was so happy when I saw the result, it was easy to use and I knew I got my money's worth. It's a handy little cleaner to have, especially if you only want to clean small areas only. For a whole room I'd just hire a carpet cleaner for a few hours, but this is handy to have around the house, especially if one of your kids threaten to cut out a piece of your carpet and underlay. Don't let them do it, buy this instead. It wasn't very heavy to move around the house, and I used it upstairs and down. I bought the large tank product without the pet tools for £149. Key points of note:- : easy to use, not too heavy and portable with carry handle : remove tough stains such as tea, ink etc : the hose has powerful suction for getting into those stains : it's good value for money : spread the payments with no interest charge : larger tank cuts time spend filling at the tap : for heavy stains, first treat with a heavy stain pre treatment first, squirt directly on the stain, leave on for 10-15 mins : can be used on sofas to remove grease It comes with a handy little storage base for the hose and storage grips at the back for the cable. I'm still exploring what this handy little cleaner can do, but so far I'm not disappointed. I cannot fault it, it packs a punch!

Got this on offer for something small, portable that could clean up after myself, kids and the dog. Was put straight to the test cleaning dog vomit (sorry!) of a rug and it did a great job and did the rest of the rug not just the impacted area. The suction is good so you’re left with something that relatively damp rather than wet. Has a good choice of cleaning brushes that are easy to swap. The rotating opening particularly is good as loosing up the dirt. Tried it on my car foot mats after giving them a good hoover. They looked clean but using this on them showed from the dirt in the water being collected. Really pleased with how the turned out. Set up is really easy. Cleaning the attachment's is really straightforward. It has good suction power and is quite discrete when storing away. It’s subtle colours so doesn’t stand out. For something that was relatively cheap I found it it really useful. It’s a spot cleaner so doing a larger carpet for example isn’t what it’s designed for but for little accidents it’s perfect and used it on a king size mattress and was absolutely fine. Really pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.

I had never owned a carpet cleaning machine, but being the owner of two cats I came to the conclusion that I needed one! This machine is quite small and comes in handy for removing messes and sick from the carpet. How it works is that you fill a small tank with water and detergent. The cleaning attachment has a trigger that releases water from the tank onto the carpet through a nozzle underneath the attachment. You then vacuum up the water which the machine sucks into the dirty water tank. I found that this works very well, but as the machine is very small, there is only enough water in the tank to treat about 1 square metre of carpet. The machine will also clean hard floors. I cleaned the kitchen floor as an experiment - on a hard floor, the water does not soak in, obviously, so you can clean a larger area on a single tank. I used the machine to clean the bottom of the larder and behind the toilet. The machine is excellent for small jobs like this. If you have a large house, you could clean your carpets with this machine, but you would require many fill-ups ad emptying out of the dirty water! As the machine is not particularly expensive, you would gain using it instead of replacing a carpet - these days you would not see much change out of £1000 for a new carpet. Although cleaning a large carpet with this machine would be laborious, it is possible and will save you the cost of a new carpet for little outlay. If the carpet is very dirty, then the smaller of the two attachments is more effective. The larger attachment is good for hard floors and carpets that do not have a deep pile. This is a good machine for occasional use. I would not get it for a hotel or guesthouse as it is very small.

Attention c'est un appareil qui vient d'Angleterre donc la prise est anglaise ! Il suffit d'acheter un adaptateur mais il faut le savoir. Une fois bien branchée cette shampouineuse fait des merveilles. De nombreuses marques devraient s'en inspirer car tout a été pensé pour être pratique et efficace. Il y a plusieurs brosses de différentes tailles, 2 petits produits de lavage (pas obligé de racheter ceux-là ensuite), 2 bacs séparés pour l'eau propre et l'eau sale, un long fil de branchement. On mélange eau et produit, on allume (c'est bruyant), on vaporise le tissu, on frotte avec la brosse (merci la brosse rotative qui aide bien) et on aspire. Les bacs d'eau sont très faciles à enlever, remplir/vider et à remettre. La machine n'aspire plus si le bac d'eau sale est au max, c'est bon à savoir. Le rangement a été très bien pensé, avec un système tout simple pour enrouler le fil et le faire tenir, et un creux prévu pour enrouler le tuyau et le clipser, ainsi qu'une brosse. D'autres marques très connues d'aspirateur ou autre n'en font pas autant ! Le tout est compact et facile à ranger et à manipuler. C'est un petit investissement mais toujours moins cher que de racheter des tapis (ça a sauvé le mien des bêtises des animaux et des enfants), j'en suis très contente.

I have a new puppy and cleaning up muddy paw prints, bone drool, accidents and other things has been a breeze. I should have bought one of these YEARS ago! Its hard on your wrists after a while so its really just for spots and not large areas. This has a UK plug end, so you will need an adapter. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This machine is amazing. It arrived on sat and I've just done my stair carpet. As an owner of dogs my stair carpet was looking dirty, washing by hand wasn't getting it clean properly. I decided to get a spot cleaner pet max by vax It's amazing. I've three German shepherd's and they are up and down all the time my carpet looks great when finished. I would recommend this to everyone the extra suction is fantastic. It cost's a bit more but it's worth it .
