Agnes is a close-fitting stretch knit top that's destined to become your new wardrobe ste. Choose from scoop neckline or sweetheart neckline gathered with elastic; long or short sleeves; plain sleeves or puffed and ruched sleeves - eight possible combinations! The neckline is finished with a narrow band. You can sew Agnes on a regular sewing machine or on an overlocker if you have one. You will need: • Fabric - 1m x 147cm wide for sizes 1-3 / 1.5m x 147cm wide for sizes 4-8 • OR 1.5m x 115cm wide for all sizes • Matching thread • 25cm (10in) x 6-8mm wide clear elastic, ribbon or stay tape to stabilise the shoulders • Optional: 50cm (20in) x 5mm wide woven elastic for the ruched sleeves and neckline • Stretch or ballpoint needle for your sewing machine • Sewing machine and basic tools (a rotary cutter and mat are useful) • Optional: Overlocker (serger) Fabric suggestions: Light- to medium-weight jersey or sweater knit fabric with at least 25% crosswise stretch.
