Fantastic mini PC. Fast and small.

Way more computing power than I need, but should serve me well for a long time. Boots up in a jiffy. No problems after nearly a year. Loads of various ports, which is more than my Dell laptop can claim.

I needed to upgrade an old clunky Lenovo tower with an old i5 and 12mB of RAM. After toiling for weeks, I pulled the trigger and bought this computer. I was anxious - this was not the traditional desktop computer I had bought many times in the past. But it seemed to have all the features I wanted. I spent time on YouTube watching reviews. Most rated it as a gaming computer. I don't game. I just wanted a reliable, fast and state of the art computer. I got it!! When it came, I was astounded at the small size, but man, was it easy to get it operating! I literally took it out of the box, plugged it in, plugged in all my USB peripherals, my 4K 35" monitor and hit the start button. It took probably 15 min. before it downloaded updates, etc. and then it performed great. Here's my take: 1. SPEED - for me, it's killer!! I don't game but for any regular application and the web, it's lightning! Applications and files load quickly. This i7 and 32gbs of RAM ROCK! 2. VIDEO - SUPERB. Everything is clear and sharp at 4K. 3. SOUND - very important to me...the sound card or whatever that's embedded in this thing is superb. Crisp, clear, high fidelity, AWESOME. 4. Lots of USB/HDMI and other hookups. State of the art for me...everything works great - wifi, BT, etc. 5. LOOKS - well built, and it's really tiny!!! 6. HEAT - it spews out some warmth from the built in fan, but nothing bad. If you're near it, you can hear the internal fan kick into high gear now and then, but not an issue for me - it's pretty quiet, even if close to me. Seems the same on heat output as my old Lenovo tower. All in all, I am impressed and happy. I just hope it stays reliable and lasts for me.

I went from tier one support to top support in 1 day! Problem solved by super knowledgeable staff. I did not need support for Windows as it worked out of the box .. first go. I did need help with Linux . Solved on first email. Disable secure boot and use slower USB port on back of unit. Immediately worked.. CMOS easy to navigate I used RescueZilla for backup.. Have done about 15 tests as I loaded Zorin etc to see if they worked. VERY FAST machine for what I needed. Price excellent. I would recommend for someone who was not very heavy gamer and did not want to fork out 1K and also for someone who did not want to chance a $300 and under unit. Priced at $500 it was just right. I love this mini PC. The value is good, and the size is portable. It doesn't have many USB-C ports, but that is fine for me. I use the USB-C to connect to one of my monitors. There's also an HDMI port to connect to an HDMI port on a monitor. There are also USB A ports in the front where I connect my wired mouse and keyboard. I like that it has many cores and memory for me to be able to use my virtual machines in it. I like that it has Windows Pro, so I can use it with Windows features like virtual machines or Hyper-V. I'm using it for my class too. Use Hyper-V to make virtual machines, and it can keep up as small as it is. Speaking of how small it is, I like how small it is, and it's portable, it seems, and carrying; just carry it to other places like class or somewhere. All you need is just a keyboard, mouse, and a monitor. It seems like it's a very powerful computer for how small it is. For my use case, it does get a bit noisy at times, but that's expected since I'm using it a lot for its memory for my virtual machines and school work. With the memory or RAM it has, it also is very. I can work with many tabs on my browser, and also I can have multiple virtual machines as well. Right now I can have like three virtual machines, which is great, which is what I need. Three virtual machines at the same time. The speed seems to be really fast for my use case. I highly recommend it.

IT LASTED 1 YEAR. GEEKCOM HAS PROBLEMS..... 2 TIMES GEEKOM FAILED. In May of this year 2024 I purchased this computer in hopes that it would handle photo processing with some of the current top programs. I had trouble right from the start, the computer felt slow and sluggish. It started crashing and losing my work. I went through the computer, checking programs and apps, ran a few full scans and nothing was showing up. I just figured it was not up to the job. I went to shut down the computer and noticed it didn't have the sleep option, didn't think anything of it. 5 weeks go by and I'm still having trouble so I thought lets go back to the first restore point and reload everything. During the restore point the PC locked up and went to blue screen... oh crud. Support reaches out with instructions of how to re-install windows and it doesn't work, now I am getting really grouchy and not happy with my purchase at all. I made some harsh but true review comments. I finally got windows 11 Pro installed and got it back up and running. That sleep button showed up along with a few other parts of windows. So it appears that Windows 11 Pro was fully installed on this machine. But even after getting everything running right, it is still sluggish. It makes processing more difficult. So this is important right here... SHIRLEY from GEEKOM is a Rock Star, she has worked very hard to correct my issue, she was very sincere and polite in trying to resolve my issue. I do a lot of wildlife photography near Lake Michigan and I share most of my work with social media groups to bring something positive in a negative world. I was working on a 21 photo display for our local library while I was dealing with my computer problems. SHIRLEY was aware of this and sent me the IT13 i9 as an upgrade to help me keep doing what I am doing. I started my photography when I became disabled so that I could share with others that are older or disabled that don't get the chance to see what I see. Thanks to GEEKOM, I can keep on sharing. So far the i9 is running like a champion with plenty of speed for photo processing, I will be back again to let you know how things are going. Thank You, Shirley.

Very small footprint, extremely quiet, easy to set up, plenty of power, doesn't get hot. To make up for its few USB ports, I got 10-port powered USB hubs, and spares with 7 ports in case we need them. The monitors use HDMI. They're pretty much all I hoped for when I switched our small company from using laptops as primary machines. I did this switch mainly to get more monitor real estate. We're using the same small form keyboards (pardon the dust) that we did when using the laptops on stands. I've had them set up for a month. Need speakers or a monitor with a good speaker. As far as looks are concerned, they're so small, they're barely visible. Very happy with the whole setup; and it was much less expensive than a laptop with comparable stats.

So far, so good. I love how I have this little, tiny box instead of a big one on the floor or needing a special desk. If you are not a gamer who needs maximum video processing, then these mini pcs are great. I stream, cruise the internet, do word processing, zoom, etc. and haven't had any problems.

Powerful mini computer just enough for me and with the Black Friday discount it was not to expensive.
