Tiptree Passion Fruit Curd, 11 Ounce Jar

I love this product. It's not intensely sweet with a hint of passion fruit. Easily spreadable.

My first review was rejected because it focused solely on the fact that the jar was not securely packed, so it was damaged and leaked all over the box, and I did not address the product itself. That was fair. So here it is: the curd is perfect, sweet, tart, buttery goodness. It's wonderful on toast, waffles, shortbread cookies, coconut cookies (the hard, flat kind), a spoon - you name it. I usually have some on toast or a toasted waffle with my coffee in the morning. I intended to say it was too bad that I'd never order it again due to the terrible packing job (it was just loose in a large box with my other two items! Do better, Amazon! At least put it in one of those plastic shipping bags so that if it leaks, it doesn't get all over the other items.) But the curd is WAY too addictive to not order again. So here goes Amazon's second chance. Wilkin & Sons Ltd doesn't need a second chance; they got it perfect on the first try. Here's hoping this time I get a full, unopened, undamaged jar!

This is delicious fruit curd. I watch a few baking shows and they are often using passion fruit. I wanted to try it. I tried the Tiptree lemon curd and enjoyed it, so thought I'd try their passion fruit curd. It did not disappoint! It is tart, tangy and sweet all in one. Lovely flavor. It's very good on yogurt and shortbread cookies, and simply "off the spoon." I will purchase this again. I will also try other curds and jams from this company.

I'm *obsessed* with this stuff. Obsessed. But the jar I just got is dull in color, and has no tartness or fruit flavor. It's sweet and the consistency is right, but it just tastes of butter. I get batch mistakes happen. But it's absolutely unacceptable that a brand that makes products with such care won't stand behind them and allow a refund or replacement. As much as I have adored this and their other curds, I don't think I'll be making an $8 gamble on a treat from them again, especially in a time when every dollar counts.

I like the idea but the tang isn't quite there.

The quality of the product and packaging was fine, and Tiptree is a good vendor from whom I regularly buy marmalade. I love passion fruit and thought I’d try the curd—but sadly, I didn’t like this. It had an odd, artificial/cooked aftertaste that I didn’t like at all. It didn’t taste at all “off”—I just didn’t like the taste. Had to throw it out.

This is probably the 5th or 6th product I have bought from them and I have to say im impressed! Every one came in packaged correctly and most importantly were all scrumptious 😋.

Está muy bien, de acidez, cremosidad y dulzor, no sabe a yema ni a mantequilla, sabe a curd de passion fruit.

Buen sabor.
