I bought this for my elderly mother who lives alone out in the country, and has never had an alarm system. Recently, they ran into some trouble in the neighborhood, so I didn't want to wait and have installation done by a professional company with hard wiring and all that drama, so I immediately came to Amazon and searched.Of all the other alarm systems, this is the one that I found to be the most reliable, and after reading reviews, I noticed the compliments on the compatibility with wi-fi, the connectivity, and the loudness.It comes with five window sensors, or really two door sensors and three window sensors, easily installed, the main unit can sit pretty much anywhere you don't have to put it on the wall if you don't want to but you can. It comes with two key fobs to disarm and arm, you can also monitor from your phone from anywhere, so this is more like a true security system than one would expect to get for such a low price.I also got her a video doorbell in addition to this unit, so she is all set.My brother was able to get it up and running in less than 20 minutes, and their Wi-Fi is compatible with it I believe it's 2.4 gh that you should have, which should not be a problem for most people.This is perfect for a small apartment, I would not recommend for a huge home because although it is loud, it is a portable alarm system pretty much. You can literally put this thing in your car to ward off intruders. Cannot beat the value for the money, and it does exactly what it needs to do.
