If you read them in proper order, you will be treated to a wonderful tale of mental illness , manipulative gods and man trying figure it all out , raising above it to become the hero. Moon knight has been referred as a knockoff Batman. Being new to Moon Knight , Id say the character is a more realistic take on that type situation. A person who suffers such tragic horrors and that to deal with it they don a mask, new identity and beat up bad guys. They will have some issues . Pick up all three Parts of Lemires’ MoonKnight run. It’s good !

MoonKnight WAS a best kept secret
Lemire is great at this stuff. His take on MoonKnight fresh and fun to read. Talk about a REBOOT!
What a combination: Jeff Lemire, one of the strongest visual artist line-ups, and Moon Knight! Being newton Moon Knight, this reader has been reading the Fist of Khonshu's sequential history. This run revitalizes characters, story, reader!

Smallwood's art is fantastic and I enjoyed the writing
This is a solid conclusion to Lemire's run. Smallwood's art is fantastic and I enjoyed the writing. I'm interested to see Moon Knight goes from here. If you enjoyed the first two books in Lemire's run, you'll enjoy this one, which is my favorite of the three volumes.

Moon Knight Continues to Deliver!
Lemire and Smallwood have done it again! Their run on Moon Knight has been a great character study on Marc Spector and why he not only can't exist without his other personas; Steven Grant, Jake Lockley, and Moon Knight himself, but that he needs them. While some might find it light on the actual "super-hero" aspect, Lemire and Smallwood have given the character his own style to explore the damaged psyche of broken man trying to rebuild himself. Old fans will enjoy the disturbing depths of Marc's madness and new fans will get see the origins of Moon Knight in a new way.

Guter, aber dennoch enttäuschender Abschluss der Reihe
Nachdem Jeff Lemire die Latte nach zwei herausragenden Bänden bzw. 9 Heften seiner Moon Knight Reihe wirklich hoch gelegt hat, findet die Arc einen leider doch etwas enttäuschenden Abschluss. Das im ersten Band begonnene und in Vol. 2 auf die Spitze getriebene Spiel mit Wahn und Realität, dort grandios mit wechselndem Art-Work unterstrichen, wird in Moon Knight Vol.3: Birth and Death leider zu sehr zurückgefahren. Ich hatte beim Lesen ein bisschen das Gefühl, dass die Geschichte mit Gewalt zu Ende gebracht werden musste und daher auf die ganz große Komplexität zugunsten von etwas stringenteren Erzählung verzichtet wird. Letztlich ist auch der dritte Band ein guter Comic und sicherlich weitaus besser als vieles, vieles andere, was die großen Verlage so auf den Markt bringen, aber im Vergleich zu der überragenden Qualität des Anfangs ist man als Leser dann am Ende doch ein bisschen enttäuscht. Trotz allem eine Kaufempfehlung für alle, die die Geschichte begonnen haben und wer noch die Reihe noch nicht kennt, sollte sich diese Moon-Knight-Interpretation in den drei von Lemire geschriebenen Trades auf jeden Fall zulegen. Ich würde mich auf jeden Fall sehr freuen, wenn Marvel sich zu einer weiteren Auflage des Moon Knight, gerne auch aus der Feder von Lemire, entschließt - auf derart vielschichtige Charaktere und Geschichten mag man nur ungern verzichten.

Good read, so-so ending
After enjoying the first two volumes, I thought the 3rd was the weakest of the three. Still a decent read, but was a little disappointed by the ending.
