[9inch] ATOTO A6 PF A6G209PF Double-DIN Android Car Stereo, Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, IPS Display, Dual Bluetooth, HD Rearview with LRV, 2G+32G

I've had the Kenwood and Pioneer Carplay units in one of our cars and in our last motorhome and although they work well enough, I found the software very restricting and updates never brought anything revolutionary, so I delved into cheaper Android head units as an alternative for our new one. I quickly found the sub £150 Android units often had clunky interfaces and laggy touch responses, so during a few rainy days on holiday I took time to research Android head units thoroughly and persistantly found two head units that are widely praised because they are well specced, have solid software, regular updates and proper customer support. These were Atoto and Joying. Atoto scored far higher on Reviewmeta (which seeks out paid or repeat reviews) and they also have a good range of plug and play accessories available so I went with Atoto and I am delighted. Many of the Android units look the same; big screen, a few buttons, usb slots etc. but often show screenshots of Apple Carplay instead of the units actual software interface, so its easy to think they are all just the same thing rebadged, but no, the components used and development of the software appears to vary wildly. I was interested in the A6 7" instead of the Pioneer in the last motorhome, but convinced myself an A6 9" would be better for bit more money. The Atoto A6 came with an array of brackets, accessories, several wiring looms, mic and gps antenna etc. In most cases it will simply plug in to the standard din connectors, but the unique canbus plug used on this 2020 Fiat Ducato Cab had to be modified. Happily there is also a loom provided to allow this if you are competent. You will need to use your imagination a bit to fit the A6 in the dashboard if you cannot lift out that part of the dash as the brackets screw on from the side which may be difficult to access in some cars. I purchased a new double din facia plate and securely fitted the A6 to that, then made hidden metal clips to hold the facia in place. My dash is curved so some of the metal bracket was exposed and had to be covered with a black tape to take the eye off it when looking from the side. Once in the car, the Atoto A6 starts up super fast (a custom startup logo was added). The home pages have large widgets for music and radio and the rest of the apps can be moved around to suit your preferences. In my case I added some streaming radio, audible and podcast apps. The A6 has wireless Carplay, though as there are multiple drivers for this vehicle we preferred to use wired so we can swap phones around easily. The Carplay activates by pressing the button on the bottom left of my pictures and connects in about 2 seconds. Carplay works perfectly with no noticeable lag when scrolling between pages. Sound quality is superior to the unit it replaces and is very customisable with the built in graphic equilizer to suit our tastes. The unit has a microphone on the front panel and also a remote mic supplied, both of which worked well and my friends and I could hear each other clearly on a few phone calls. We also had good experiences of using voice commands to activate calls and open apps with carplay. In this motorhome we have full time wifi, so we can use that to stream videos and other content when parked up at night. It also allows the unit to download and update apps. I also bought 2x Atoto accessories. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and the OBD reader to use the included Torque app for virtual vehicle gauges and fault codes. There are 2 USB ports for accessories, I use one for wired Carplay so on the other I fitted a Small 3 way USB Hub for the TPMS and OBD. I am also using the Fiat reverse camera with the A6, though its quite low-resolution so I may change that in the future. It engages quickly when reverse is selected and a useful feature is that the reverse camera can be activated when not reversing to give a rear view when driving. There is also a facility to have a forward facing camera as well. The A6 has a programmable steering wheel control interface. My vehicle does this through can-bus so I would need an additional adapter. I may look at this in the future, but the A6 is within easy reach so its not a necessity. I experienced a minor software issue where I could not move the radio and music widgets and found Atoto support contacted me within a day or so and were very friendly and attentive in trying to resolve this. Having actual support adds a lot of value to the Atoto A6 and the Atoto brand. The functionality, ease of use, speed and accessories mean this is a far superior unit to the Pioneer it replaces, in my opinion, so I would not hesitate to recommend Atoto to anyone and I will certainly add one to another of my vehicles.

Although this is a seemingly great unit i do have struggles with it Sound and functioning is great, the screen is a beast so do have a measure of where it is going to sit. I mainly use it to link to my ECU (maxx race) DAB - for the life of me cannot get DAB function to work even with several brands of anteni and different apps to no avail. Ive even tried powered antenna with a 12v to 5v transformer to use a usb powered antenna Dash cam recording worked for a month but now the screen just sits blank on start up, the GPS location for recording speed and location is well off so god knows what satalites it picking up. It often reboots its self with a loud bang through the speaker when trying to give it a few tasks to do in one go. Very anoying to be playing with later in the day or evening, im sure next door must wonder why im banging about compatibilty seems to be an issue between iPhone and the the android software, nightmare with what it want to pair with first or either wifi or bluetooth would love to have it working better but the Q&A and tech support isn't very help-full

This is my 2nd android head unit. First one had no lock screen, would randomly reset and was very slow doing anything. Atoto unit does everything quick, has a lock screen that can be undone by passcode or Bluetooth. Only drawback to previous unit is that it one is a fixed screen, previous unit had the ability to tilt up, down and even raise/lower. Atoto used to sell a unit with these features but no longer. As it is it currently obscures a lower display but its overall a big improvement. If you're thinking of getting an android head unit and not sure which one to get, get this one, or anything from Atoto.

Be aware with the 9 inch model the actual physical size is 10.5 inch it's only the display area that is 9 inch, you need to factor in the outer bezel which is never mentioned in any of the information. So if you have to buy a separate fitment facia it isn't going to fit. I can only assume that the other sizes in these will be the same.

Excellent replacement unit for a JDM import. Easy to install as it comes with a few iso harnesses. I wasn’t able to reuse the factory amplifier but didn’t need to. Head unit has enough output power for me and the 10 speakers in the car. It was easy enough to wire everything directly into the speakers. I was able to preserve the steering controls using an adaptor purchased separately. I was also able to preserve the factory rear view camera which is excellent. The head unit itself is fast, easy to connect to WiFi and my iPhone. Installing apps from google play is great. Really happy with it all and can recommend. Customer service via email is super helpful too by the way!

Not sure about this as yet. Came with no camera. Takes forever to boot up. Having to use an app to use reverse camera unlike my other stereo which was half the price and just displays image as soon as it's put in reverse...

Riscrivo la recensione dopo più di un Anno di utilizzo. Sistema sempre perfetto, velocità, stabilità e fluidità delle App rendono ogni giorno un piacevole viaggio. L'autoradio si presenta con una bella estetica, lo schermo da 9 pollici dà un'ottima visibilità durante la guida. L'avvio è sempre rapido, si collega istantaneamente al GPS, alla rete internet ed è subito operativo. Installazione semplice e veloce. Per il collegamento internet ho usato una chiavetta comprata su Amazon mod. Tenda collegata sulla porta USB , utilizzando il collegamento diretto l'accesso a Internet è immediato. Ho installato un nuovo Launcher di sistema "Car Launcher" rendono accattivante la schermata home. La sezione Audio è spettacolare, con la possibilità di poter agire su ogni tipo di regolazione, anche con dei semplici altoparlanti, dà l'effetto subwoofer, e una qualità audio eccellente. Il collegamento con Android Auto è immediato e perfetto ho provato con diverse marche di smartphone ed il collegamento avviene senza problemi, senza dover utilizzare cavi, appena si accende si connette immediatamente al vostro smartphone. Il bluetooth si collega rapidamente ed ha un ottimo audio durante la conversazione telefonica. Perfetta per la riproduzione musicale con Amazon music, Spotify, ecc.. con le App installate direttamente nell'autoradio. Con questo vi consiglio vivamente questo prodotto, ma cmq qualsiasi prodotto Atoto, ditta seria con assistenza immediata e competente. Per me 5 stelle...

Je viens d'installer la bête dans mon VW Transporter, en remplacement d'un vieil autoradio Android, et bien c'est le jour et la nuit! J'ai eu quelques galères pour l'installation (pas de + après contact disponible dans le faisceau du transporter :-/) mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'autoradio, et ca a été vite règlé en repiquant dans la boite à fusibles. Quelques points concernant l'A6 Pro: - Le tactile est extrêmement réactif (fantastique par rapport à l'ancien), et pour moi c'est l'une des caractéristiques clé pour un autoradio - L'installation se fait bien, il y a plusieurs adaptateurs fournis, et le fait que l'autoradio soit très peu profond est très pratique (toute la salade de cable à de la place derrière!) - Carplay fonctionne très bien et est très rapide à démarrer - Le support est très réactif: les boutons ne voulaient pas s'éclairer automatiquement, il fallait toujours aller dans les paramètres pour les désactiver puis réactiver -> il s'agit en fait du fonctionnement normal, les boutons sont trigger par le fil orange, que je n'avais pas branché, et que l'on est censé brancher sur le signal des phares (on allume les phares, les boutons s'allument). J'ai branché le cable orange sur mon + après contact et problème règlé, les boutons s'allument dès que l'autoradio s'allume. Bref, que du bon, je peux conseiller :)

Ich hatte zuerst einen Radio bei Amazon probiert der 200€ kostete, Android car und Rückfahrkamera unterstützt. auf das kam es mir in erster Linie an. Der brauchte ca 1min zum Hochfahren und hatte die Eigenheiten daß wenn man während dem Hochfahren den Rückwärtsgang einlegt und dann wieder vorwärts fährt der Bildschirm schwarz blieb. Das ging gar nicht. Der Einbau war auch Kacke weil das sogenannte doppelDIN Radio nicht in einen doppelDIN Schacht gepasst hat. Beim weiteren suchen nach einem relativ günstigen Autoradio kam ich dann auf den und habe mehrere positive Unterschiede festgestellt. Er fährt schneller hoch wie der vorherige, Rückwärts fahren gleich nach starten macht ihm gar nichts aus, er schaltet wie es sich auch gehört auf Kamerabild und danach zurück auf Grundbild. Die Anzeige der Lieder ist größer und beim fahren einfacher zu lesen und zu steuern, auch der Kontrast ist besser. Anlegen von Favoriten schnell möglich und gerade praktisch wenn Kinder mitfahren. Navi hab ich mir übers WLAN offlinekarten von maps gezogen und des läuft auch gut, halt ohne Stauinfos, aber auch kein Handy oder sonstwas notwendig. Navi Lautstärke und Musik sind getrennt regelbar, war beim anderen auch nicht so... Handy anschließen funktioniert auch, bei meinem Huawei aber nur kabelgebunden. Maps, WhatsApp etc sind dann am Radio aufrufbar. Allerdings finde ich die Carbit Link App nicht so prickelnd, aber es läuft zumindest. Man lernt irgendwann Abstriche zu machen... Freisprecheinrichtung per Bluetooth funktioniert auch gut, läuft momentan noch ohne das externe Mikro und das reicht schon fast so, Mal sehen ob ich das überhaupt noch verlege. Ich habe derzeit nur das Radio per ISO eingebaut und eine Rückfahrkamera, Handy und USB Stick angeschlossen. Zu canbus, Lenkradfernbedienung, dab Empfang und was des Teil noch alles so drauf hat hab ich keine Erfahrungen gemacht
