I don’t usually write product reviews, but this thing genuinely impressed me.I’d been battling dead algae in my above-ground pool for weeks. I couldn’t justify spending £100+ on a pool vacuum attachment, and the cheaper hose-powered options seemed painfully slow and ineffective.I attached this pump to my drill, connected it to a length of hosepipe, and mounted it on a long pole so I could direct it around the pool. Within minutes it was removing thick deposits of dead algae that would have taken hours to clear by hand.The flow rate is surprisingly good for such a simple device, and it made short work of a job I’d been putting off for weeks. Thanks to this pump, I can now properly treat the pool and get the water crystal clear again.Simple, effective, and excellent value for money.

Brilliant! Most other pumps like this have to be screwed to a board, which is a pain. You can hold this one in your hand. Some reviews said the self-priming isn't reliable, but mine self primes every time, even when left for a bit. More expensive than some of the others, but you get what you pay for. This is well worth the money, and by far the best of several others I've tried.

Sturdy pump and easy to use. Some mount points would of been a bonus but fine as is.

I purchased this to pump water away from my patio after jet washing. I had bought a cheaper one that didn't work so I was a bit sceptical that this one would work. However, it worked a treat and it pumped the dirty water away and I'm really pleased that it's solved the problem of water accumulating. I can't comment on the longevity of the product but I only plan to use it occasionally.Re above, the longevity doesn't seem great as it doesn't work today. I haven't used it for a while and was hoping it would still work 😞

This is an impeller pump, not a peristaltic pump. There is no tubing, and liquids are exposed to the internal mechanical structure and lubricants as with all standard drill impeller pumps.
