Got this to replace a proprietary auto close hinged that broke but was cemented in as door wouldn’t close and replacement soft /auto close wouldn’t fit. This went in easily and hole shape made it easy to adjust. Read that the screws strip easily so I used my own for starters so can’t comment on screws.

I have a dumb corner cabinet door that I hate. I have cats that figured out how to open it. This is where I keep cereal, bags of rice and other tall grocery items. I'd often open my cabinet to find they'd destroyed my boxes of cereal and bags of rice. The lighter strength typical cabinet door magnets weren't strong enough and other type latches wouldn't work because of how door is constructed. We've had these a month or so and the cabinets are catproof! PROS: Very strong. I have to give a good tug to open the door. Excellent for cabinets that are odd structure that conventional latching systems won't work on. Price is very good given the size and strength of the magnets. *you can see, in second photo, the magnets we first had on(very top and middle) for size/strength reference.

Easy to install

Bought this to hold barn style doors closed on an outdoor storage building. Not the easiest to line up the magnets so to make connection but strength of magnets work great when you finally get that connection. Great price.

Perfect to keep Garden Shed doors shut. Holds well but not too hard to open door.

These seems to work well. I don't know about 90 pounds of force as I ended up using both on my deck doors (one of top of door, the other on bottom).

The 90lb magnets have a very strong hold. I used one on a greenhouse door that only has a functioning lever lock from the outside and no interior locking or closing mechanism. This magnet strongly holds the door closed. I used longer screws holding the magnet and plate in place and also added an interior pull handle to the greenhouse door.

The magnet strength is not as described. I ordered the small one, to hold up a small piece of PVC to the wall. I didn't even bother trying it. As soon as I opened it and tried the magnet, it was clearly not as described. Going to try the heavier one.

I have an old closet built in 1950, the doors were original and made of plywood, they would never close tight because they were twisted, I added this magnet at the bottom of door- works excellent, pulled in 1/2” holds

Its just arrived but it was rough to look at - the stainless steel was all pitted and scratched. Not at all like the pictures. I'm going to have to try to remove the screatched before I put it on

Actually too strong for my intended use on pantry doors. Will pull them closed hard and have to really yank to get open. So it fulfills the description just wasn’t helpful for my use.
