Glad I bought them , the cutters themselves are a great help..word of warning though , they are very sharp. And right to the tip, so very good for cutting those wee metal pieces off.

I completed my first ever Metal Earth kit with just a pair of tweezers, and I decided that I'd like few more tools for the next one to make it a bit easier and look a bit neater. I bought this set because I didn't want to to spend too much money on this new hobby. The build quality is somewhat low - the clippers don't quite close exactly straight (although it's enough to clip out the metal pieces) and the flat nose pliers don't close completely flush. It's clear that these are cheap tools. However, I think this is a fair price for the quality (I bought it for £8.99), and if I was in the same position again of wanting to spend a small amount of money towards a hobby I wasn't totally set on yet, I would buy these again. If you are already decided that you want to make at least another 3+ kits, I think it would be worth investing in a higher quality tool set.

These are junk not fit for purpose ie no serrations on the nose grip . Dangerous

Will be used for jewellery making and general crafting. Seem up to the job.

I bought these along with a file set. They are great. Don't laugh, but my dentures were hurting my gum ,so I used the file and after they fit a treat. loll

Value for money. Functional and easy to use.

All 3 feel quite comfortable in the hand. Cutters are OK but the long nose and smooth pliers are very rough and have particularly sharp edges…. However……. Considering I only paid a tenna for this set I can’t argue so I took the time to file off the sharp edges and scotch bright for a nice smooth finish. So after about 30 minutes of work they are not as rough around the edges. They are cheap and cheerful but work fine and I’m happy with them and certainly would not put people off from buying them. And overall value is pretty impressive.

I'm using the tools for steel earth models but am having trouble seeing the small metal pieces but these tools are great

This set just feels cheap. Both the flat and needle nosed pliers came slightly misaligned and both had roughly shaped tips so that using them for fine work (in my case, metal models) was frustrating. The good thing about them being cheap is that I can use them when precision is not required and don’t mind if they get rusty or busted. I ended up going to a big box store and buying an expensive but useful set. I suggest you do the same.

The product was very easy to hold and only slipped occasionally when I was changing grip or was not holding them tightly. The blades on the clipping pliers however became dull and formed a small rolled edge towards the tip of them. The dullness did not stop them from cutting, but towards the end of the first set I had to exert more pressure to cut then at the beginning. Otherwise, nice product and perfect if you are trying to start making metal earth models.
