Great product. Easy to use. I'm happy with the lettering size. Wish they would have made some lettering on the tops or sides to let you know, but hey. You can make dog tags or equipment tags. probably heat them up and do plastics.

Large easy to read letters
These may actually be too large for some uses. I thought they were a good size for my application. I think any punch set of letter/numbers takes some practice. Maybe more than practice to get good results. I wound up making a jig out of 2x2 lumber with squared off holes to hold the punches in alignment. I taped the ends of the 2x2 to the work piece so they would not move after being struck. Worked really well. Otherwise, without the jig, I couldn't get the spacing, orientation, and alignment to be consistent. This also eliminated the possibility of hitting my hand because I didn't have to hold the punch. This allowed me to swing the hammer harder without fear of injury.

Exactly what they look like
Works well. Not exceptionally hard. They aren’t going to last forever if you’re beating on steel but they’re perfect for aluminum. Good for the price but if you’re looking for something that will last through repeated use, look for a little better hardened product. Good for the price.
