Works ok with mods
The instructions weren’t specific. I needed to make some easy mods because the screws didn’t line up.

Great concept, typical Chinese quality
Spent several hours assembling with my child, only to find out the lights won't work she the fan won't turn with the crank shaft. Took apart the lighting component, the wires weren't soldered properly and became disconnected. The fan belt rubber is so hardened, it binds up the action so the motor doesn't turn smoothly.

L'ingénierie derrière ce modèle est très bien conçu,mais il FAUT que toutes les pièces interagissent à la perfection pour un modèle réussi.Le modèle s'est très bien monté en général jusqu'à ce que...on a manqué de vis d'une certaine dimension;le nombre de vis indiqué ne correspondait pas au nombre réel inclus dans le kit.Et la strappe reliant le vilebrequin au ventilateur de refroidissement ne fonctionnait pas parce qu'elle n'était pas assez élastique!C'est comme si elle avait "séchée,raidie" dans l'emballage ou peut-être n'était tout simplement pas la bonne?Emballage exposée au soleil,à la chaleur?De toute façon,la strappe glissait sur l'engrenage et ne parvenait pas à faire fonctionner le ventilateur.Conclusion:Le modèle du moteur est ruiné et on ne peut pas retourner ce genre de produit pour un échange!Très déçu de la part de Dr. STEM et j'ai flambé $140.00 pour rien!

My son was so excited to build this engine! He’s been working on it for two hours straight, sadly there are no extra parts and two of the small grey pieces that you put springs on got snapped. One when removing it from the large plastic holder (it wasn’t cut it was one large piece of plastic so it was impossible to remove without breaking it 🥴), and the other when trying to add the spring on the grey shaft. Also two springs were completely coiled together and are now stretched out. Is there any ways to get a few extra pieces? It’s a bummer to have an entire working engine that won’t work because of two little plastic pieces and two springs. Help would be great! Thank you!

Bought this as a Christmas present son was so excited to put it together only to find that they sent a wrong head they sent 2 of the same… do not waste your money as the engine will not run without the right heads. Not happy at all and super disappointed kid.
