Titan 17002 2-Piece Multi-Purpose and Mini Razor Scraper Set

Where I live, enforcement officers are aggressive in enforcing almost any regulation that brings money into the city to include the regulation requiring a current, properly positioned and affixed registration sticker. Inasmuch as I couldn't find the mediocre tool I'd been using for years, I ordered the Titan Tools razor scraper. It is sturdy and comfortable to hold and use. The heavier razor blades included with the device were very well suited to remove the well-affixed registration sticker and, unlike regular (thinner) blades, did not flex under pressure, working very well to remove the sticker and the inevitable residual adhesive. The razor blade is held firmly and safely in place with a screw which, in case it was a concern, did not interfere at all with the use of the tool. The only issue was that the razor scraper could have been just a bit longer. Assuming a steeply raked/sloped windshield and limited space between the windshield and the top of the dash, if you have a larger hand, you might have to change your grip and hold the end of the device with finger tips to remove the lowest portion of any windshield sticker and any residual adhesive. All in all, a great, sturdy tool well suited for my purpose and the vast majority of use cases. For certain applications, it could be just a little longer.

We decided to spend a little more money on this one instead of going with a cheaper option. We were concerned with the quality and durability of the cheaper options. While I can't yet speak to the long term durability, the build quality is excellent. It feels solid and well made. It easily made short work of the task we purchased it for (cleaning burnt-on plastic from a glass stove top). We are very happy with this purchase.

I have several scrapers around the house/garage, but can never find one when I need it. So, I bought another one that I have secreted in the garage away from family members who never put things back where they found them. Sound familiar to anyone out there? Anyway, this is my latest addition to my stash, and I have found it to be imminently satisfactory. I have used only the long version thus far, but it has performed flawlessly thus far. It is easy to maintain the correct angle of attack, the correct amount of pressure and to reach the rather out of the way areas where I have formerly been unable to attack. I have been surprised how clean and clear a couple of windows now look after having used this scraper. The clamp system holding the razor blade is rather heavy duty so it should last for quite a while. Its design allows one to cover the sharp side of the blade for storage and safety without having to store the blade in some different container. The longer scraper feels sturdy and strong and does not flex and the handle is comfortable thereby promoting long life. The handle is well formed and could be considered somewhat ergonomic. I would purchase this blade again.

Good quality scrapers. They are strong, easy to use, with replaceable blades that can quickly be changed. The long scraper is very good for getting stickers off the inside of the front windshield.

After a bad experience using a scraper made of plastic to remove caulk in the past, I bought this set. The handle is a good thickness making it comfortable to hold. The handle also has rubbery parts making it easier to keep the grip while giving leverage for a job that requires a lot of pressure. I really put this thing through a rough time and it handled it perfectly. The 5 blades that came with the set were also strong. I used only one blade for my entire job and it never broke. The set includes a smaller scraper and a longer scraper. There is only one cap. The small scraper unscrews easily by hand so you can flip the blade over for safe storage. The long scraper, is stronger and so the screw that keeps the blade in place is metal and needs a screwdriver to access moving the blade, so I use the cap since using a screwdriver is a little less convenient.

It's so simple and effective, but this is the first scraper I've found that doesn't have a retractable blade! All prior models I've bought use that annoying slide/lock mechanism with the blade retracted into the body of the scraper. That's 'safe' but it ALWAYS pushes the lock back outside the slide and I've actually cut myself several times trying to push the lock back into the slide. It also means you couldn't use it to scrape up anything but loose material. The Titan 17002 2-Piece Multi-Purpose and Mini Razor Scraper Set solves those problems with the fixed blade design with the cap used for safe storage. I've used it to clean a glass stove top, stone countertops, and thinset mortar in tile work with great effect and no issues. If you're working on delicate materials (e.g. glass stove top), change the blade frequently so you don't have nicks in the blade as that can scratch the surface you're cleaning. I'm very happy with this and highly recommend this scraper set.

I read through many of the reviews before I bought these. I needed some new scrappers and these seemed to be what I needed. The thick razors that come in the it are AWESOME! Very sharp, and when they dull, they can be sharpened. The one comment that I read a lot was the fact that there is only one cover. REALLY? Why would you put a cover on a long handle scrapper? Yes, just turn the blade around. One thing that I found was that on both, large and small, debris would get caught between the blade and the scrapper. HOWEVER..... Someone, PLEASE make a scrapper that doesn't collect debris!! Everyone that I have used always does. That being said, I couldn't find anything to complain about. Both fit in the hand well, neither made my hand cramp. and the long one has the blade at an angle, so you can flip it over to get where you need it to be. GREAT TOOLS!
