Perfect compact solution.
I've used these in my kit for a few months now. They fit in small tool bags and have been the only thing I've found to keep 1/2" sockets organized in a compact space, and are equally convenient for the smaller sizes. I was worried the clips would be flimsy but they seem to hold up just fine and come with a couple extras. The ball detent is a good pressure, holds firmly but is easy enough to remove, and the plastic material means sockets don't snag or rust on. Only problem is the rubber end caps can come off but that's a simple fix and having them be removable can be an advantage.

Works for light duty
I'm enjoying these for light duty organizing. They're sturdy enough and easy to use. Hint - before using them, press each ball in to release it. Otherwise it's hard to get the sockets on.

For what they are, these are excellent
So, I have a rather complete tool set, with six and twelve point sockets of most sizes. I ordered these so that I could put all of my sockets into a smaller area than the organizer that I had gotten from sears a few years back (metric took an entire drawer, SAE took more than a drawer). I do quite like these sets, but it would be very nice if they made the 1/2 inch drive organizers a bit longer, as the sockets are rather larger (all 3 drives are the same length of carrier bar). I still need to get another set, in order to get ALL of my 1/2 drive sockets onto them. They come with extra individual socket holders, in case you need to add a couple, but not with enough to get all 1/4 inch drive sockets onto one (or maybe I am misusing them in a way for which they were not designed. I have 6pt on one side, and 12 pt on the other, christmas tree-ing down by size. As I said, I do quite like these, and will be ordering more (I 'could' 3d print them, but these hold better than my printed ones. Well worth the price, and a great space saver in my tool box.

The socket holders are too brittle
I bought these for my jeep tool set. I was very disappointed when after the 2nd use I noticed that many of the sockets had fallen off due to how weak the socket holder plastic is. These may be fine for a stay at home tool kit but don't get them thinking they are going to last a long time. Get Metal ones.... I'm having to order new ones because too many of the socket holders have broken. Good Idea ... Bad execution.

Exactly What I Needed
I wanted to organize the sockets in my toolbox. I looked all over for strips that would hold the sockets securely, but didn't cost an arm and a leg. I had sockets in all sizes, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive, so this set was perfect. The sockets stay put. They don't fall off. I have thrown them in a tool bag occasionally and they're still on the strip. If you break the tabs off the holder, it's your own fault - you're doing it wrong. Pull the socket straight off, or at a slight perpendicular angle to the strip. I've never broken one, so...Also, if you have say a set of spark plug sockets, and there's only 4-5 in the set, you can pull the end caps off, pull the tabs off, and put them on another strip. I did this, and then I cut the plastic rail to fit the application. Pretty easy, and it makes it look clean. For the price you can do whatever you want with them. One thing, a full set of 1/2" drive sockets will not fit on one rail. By the time you get up into the 20mm + sizes, the sockets won't have room to fit side by side. You'll need more than one strip. So get an extra set, or whatever. And yes, you may have extra tabs floating around, but that's good in case you break one, right? All in all, one of the best tool related purchases I've made from Amazon.

Extremely cheap feeling.
I didn't expect the highest quality from Amazon but I'm still disappointed. It's all plastic, and the cheapest feeling garbage at that. The tolerances are all off, some are super tight some are really loose. The sockets aren't even held square
