I did a smell test between this fragrance of Pacifica French lilac, Bath and body works,and Pur Désir de Lilas by Yves Rocher. They all have a good lilac smell. I did the test on a paper towel. They say that Pacifica is the best smelling at a cheaper price. From high to low prices, Pacifica French cut lilacs is the cheapest, then Bath and Body Works fresh cut lilacs, then Pur Désir de Lilas by Yves Rocher as the highest price. My smell test rules as Bath and body fresh cut lilacs comes in first as the best lilac smell. Pacifica French lilac second and Pur Désir de Lilas by Yves Rocher comes in third and most expensive one. Bath and body works fresh cut lilacs comes in first as a longer lasting scent, then Pacifica french lilacs comes in second and Pur Désir de Lilas by Yves Rocher comes in third as not having a strong fragrance and the most expensive of all three. I think that Bath and Body works fresh cut lilacs is the best. Reviews are right about Pacifica French lilacs being sticky when you put it on. I don’t like the stickiness of it. The smell is good and it does smell like lilacs. It’s a good lilac smell for the price if you can deal with the stickiness of it. It goes away after a few minutes. I’m sold on Bath and body Works as the best stronger lilac smell and more lasting. It comes first on my smell test scale.

Great scent for hair and body, depending on your aim

A must have for a not-too-sweet, light, summer scent. No alcohol! I wish there was a companion lotion.

The lilac scent was amazing. But the spray pump didn't work so good. I think the bottle was too long or spray pump is too weak.

I bought two fragrances. French Lilac and Silver Moon. French lilac⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Very fragrant and aromatic. I could smell it through the package. Has an airy and fresh lilac scent. Truly smells like lilacs. Very floral with a tiny bit of a powdery scent. The bottle sprays a strong mist. Formula is alcohol free so it doesn't linger all day. It lasts about 1-2 hours on its own. It's good for layering with other scents. If you are looking to make it last longer, layer over body/hair oil, lotion or even Vaseline. Silver Moon⭐: Do not purchase. I expected it to be as lovely as the French Lilac. But no! Smells like sweet pickle water. I don't smell vanilla, almond or spices. Just watered down sugar and pickles. Unfortunately I cannot return. Not sure anyone would want this. Buy this if you are into smelling like watery sweet pickles... So disappointed.

What a complete disappointment! I previously owned the version that says 100% vegan and cruelty free on the bottle with the non-locking spray top. I used it primarily as a room spray and loved it. I JUST got this new one and sprayed as usual and it was like spraying water - the scent was minimal and disappeared within 2 minutes. I consider it a complete waste of money and won't purchase again. (I normally only write a review if I like and recommend a product, but this was such a negative experience resulting from a positive expectation that I had to make an exception.)

This is the only lilac perfumed product that actually smells exactly like the lilac bushes. The aroma stays for quite awhile. If you love the scent of lilac this is for you.

This product smells exactly like standing in a field of lilac bushes. It's a highly concentrated scent, yet not overpowering. I will definitely buy it again.

Strong sent of lilac, big bottle, 100% happy with the purchase

It smells really lovely, I really like it. I just wish the sprayer worked better. I always worry when trying a lilac scent because it’s so hard to get a realistic fresh real lilac, and too often you find instead that “grandma’s toilet fake powdery flower” smell that someone evil once unfairly & inexplicably named lilac. You all know what smell i mean, and if you’re reading a review in debate of buying a lilac perfume, you have the same fear. This absolutely is not grandma’s toilet. It’s not pure only fresh lilac scent either, but it’s definitely in there. I really like it a lot. I would use it constantly if it sprayed in a nice fine mist. Instead, it comes out in what i can best describe as a clumsy, messy “splurt”? 🤷🏻‍♀️ which i hate because i cant risk spraying that on my clothes. So if i’m rushing out the door, and don’t have time to fuss over spraying it on my hand and reapplying safely to other areas, i can basically only risk spraying it on my hair. Which is maybe nice for people hugging me later (because i’m short, lol). But i’d rather be able to spray a fine mist all over my sleeves and stuff so i could hold it right up to my nose all day & enjoy it more. Maybe someone at Pacifica will see this review and send me a new pity nozzle or something.
