Ingenious Design, Rock-Solid Performance — The Arkflex Is a Must-Have
I’ve had the OLIGHT Arkflex Adjustable Right Angle Flashlight for about a year now, and it’s become one of my most-used lights, hands down. As a longtime OLIGHT fan, I picked this up mostly out of curiosity for the adjustable-angle feature—and ended up using it way more than I expected. It’s incredibly functional, thoughtfully designed, and built to OLIGHT’s usual high standards. ⸻ Form Factor and Flexibility The standout feature here is, of course, the adjustable head. Being able to rotate the head from a traditional forward-facing flashlight to a right-angle orientation is a game changer. It makes the light far more versatile for everything from working under the hood to clipping it on your chest or backpack strap for hands-free use. It hits a sweet spot between a headlamp and a standard flashlight. You don’t always need a headband setup, but having that right-angle option is super useful in daily tasks, camping, or any situation where you need directional light and free hands. ⸻ Brightness and Beam At 1,000 lumens, the Arkflex is more than powerful enough for most tasks. The beam is clean and well-balanced—wide enough for general visibility but with enough throw to reach out into the dark when needed. I typically use it on medium or high, and it’s been great for both indoor and outdoor use. The controls are responsive, and the button is well-placed whether you’re holding it straight or at an angle. The UI is typical OLIGHT: simple, fast, and reliable. ⸻ Build Quality and Durability This is a tough little light. I’ve dropped mine a few times, used it in the rain, and carried it in tool bags—and it hasn’t missed a beat. The aluminum body feels solid, and the magnetic tailcap is as useful as ever, letting me stick it to metal surfaces for hands-free lighting. IPX7 waterproofing means I never worry about it in wet conditions. It also clips securely to a pocket or MOLLE strap, and the rotating head holds its position well without feeling loose or too stiff. ⸻ Battery and Charging Battery life is solid, and I’ve never had it die on me unexpectedly. The built-in battery charges via USB-C, which I always appreciate. It tops up quickly and the battery level indicator is clear and helpful. For its size and brightness, the battery performance has been more than reasonable. ⸻ Pros: • Adjustable-angle head is extremely practical and versatile • Bright 1,000 lumen output with a clean, useful beam • Rugged, water-resistant construction (IPX7) • USB-C charging with accurate battery indicator • Magnetic tailcap and secure clip for hands-free use • Comfortable size for EDC or work gear • Still going strong after a year of regular use Cons: • Not a spotlight—beam is more flood than throw (but very usable) • Would love a slightly deeper carry clip for better concealment ⸻ Final Thoughts The OLIGHT Arkflex proves that small design changes—when done right—can make a big difference in how a tool works for you. The adjustable head adds a level of flexibility that you don’t realize you’re missing until you have it. After a year of use, it’s easily one of my favorite and most functional OLIGHTs. If you’re looking for a flashlight that adapts to your needs without sacrificing power or build quality, this is a fantastic choice. OLIGHT nailed it again.

Well design flashlight with multi directional flex head
I've been using using this light for about a week and, so far, it has worked quite well. The only thing that concerns me is that the flashlight with the head flexed may not be able to withstand an accidental drop, so I have been extra careful to try to avoid accidentally drops. Other than this issue, the light is really remarkable. I have used it at work to help light up dark areas at night when I have to secure merchandise on the front of my store , and I have also used the light to light up portions of my store's the outdoor garden that I have had to water. It truly is a remarkable light at a reasonable price. The magnetic function is also great for me to light up shelves that I usually end up " diving" into for retrieving merchandise. It's a great light, but if you are in a rough environment, then I would recommend the Olight Arkfeld Pro, which is more durable but does not possess the flex head. Overall, the light has a maximum emission of a 1000 lumens at turbo, 400 lumens at high, 100 lumens at medium, 15 lumens at low, and 1.5 lumens at moonlight. Most of the time, when I am working under the racks, the 15 lumens or 100 lumens with the cool white is enough light to perform close quarter type work. The moonlight mode is very handy for navigating around the house at nighttime without disturbing anyone sleeping. Due to the flex design, the heat management is excellent for the higher lumen settings. The flex head design disperses heat efficiently. I usually like the cool white LED emitters for their intensity and the type of " white" light they produces, thus illuminating the details of my operational areas with crisp and clear light.

So far my favorite EDC flashlight.
It fits great in the pocket and the clip makes it very secure. It is somewhat heavy and long but still works very well attached to baseball cap visor. The head can be adjusted for angle. The battery life is great too. It heats up a bit but can operate at full brightness for reasonable amount of time. It uses the same magnetic Olight charger, which now I have plenty of. The button is on the side, slightly recessed, with distinctive pattern, so it can be accessed blindly, but not turned on by just sitting on it. It is an awesome flashlight. Great job Olight, I am impressed. It would be cool if there was more color choices, and maybe warm white LED option?

So far, an incredible EDC light
Pros: - Very slim and the two-way clip makes it easy to carry everywhere - Two-way clip and 90-degree adjustment also turns any baseball cap into a headlight - Strong magnetic base to attach to many surfaces - Good variety of brightness modes and highest setting is plenty bright for most situations Cons: - None yet. The only thing I can think of would be battery life, but I haven't had it long enough to say anything about it. Will update if it's bad over time. Overall, I'm very happy with this light and while I also bought the Seeker Pro, which is another fantastic light with more lumens and a better control dial, I think I'll return it because this one satisfies all of my needs so far.

My Favorite and most used Olight.
I bought the Arkflex at the same time I purchased the Arkfeld Pro which was December 2023 and I thoroughly believed the Arkfeld pro was going to be the light I wanted in my pocket everyday, but boy was I wrong. I thought the flexible joint on this light would become loose and sloppy pretty quickly but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I’ve been carrying and USING this light almost everyday for the last year and it has held up FANTASTICALLY! I absolutely abuse this light and it just keeps going. Battery life is great, and the lumen output is more than enough for most things. The size and shape of this light make it so comfortable in the pocket and it feels great in the hand. This is absolutely my favorite light from Olight.

My favorite work light
This is an outstanding work light with the adjustable angle head and 2 way pocket/hat clip and magnetic base. It really helps put the light where you need it. The brightness adjustment is perfect for the different work scenarios i encounter. The battery lasts a few weeks with everyday use before needing a charge.

Very handy light
great little flashlight with 90 degrees twist head. The bright color helps finding it when it drops inside a machine. The battery seems to last a long time with daily use. The magnetic charger is very quick and easy to use.

Works great!
First of all, this brand itself is fantastic! My husband and I have several of their different flashlight styles and have had nothing but great experiences with them. I will say, I do wish this was smaller, because it’s not so convenient to carry it in my pocket. But being flat and thin helps a lot to make it low-profile. The light itself is great, no complaints- it’s rechargeable, and the battery life is super long (I charged it once when I got it but haven’t had to charge it again yet!). The hinge to angle the light at the tip is very sturdy and tight, so it stays in place wherever you want it, and the magnet is super strong so it’s a great tool for working on a vehicle. Overall highly recommend!
