I have two cats and was tired of dragging out the big vacuum just to clean up litter. This machine is very powerful, easy to move around, and the fact that you can completely dismantle the suction device for cleaning is fantastic. It has been super reliable and is very light and easy to handle. It works well on carpet, ceramic tile, and laminate flooring. I still drag out the big vacuum to get the carpets deep clean but as maintenance between that it more than suffices on my low-pile rugs.

So light! At full power, it does just fine with carpet. Exactly what I need it to do. Picks up my cats fluff, and leaves lovely vacuum lines in my carpet. The battery gets drained real quick on full power, but it's enough to thoroughly clean one level of my home, or quickly sweep up the main floor and upstairs. If I ran it at mid power, I could probably clean my whole house at once, if I was feeling ambitious. It's easy to take apart and clean, and the filter does a great job of keeping dust in. I got it mostly for cleaning my stairs, and as a bonus car vacuum. Instead, I've found myself using it nearly everyday. Just love it. I hope the battery and filter replacement aren't too expensive or hard to find.

UPDATE: This product stopped working with an Error Code that indicates the motor is overheating. On-line it was suggested that the vacuum motor should be blown out with high pressure air hose once per year. I used the thing less than 20 times (remember the battery charge only lasts 15 minutes). I have upgraded my review to 1 star. Sorry Eureka, it is just not a good product. ------------------------------ I am not very impressed by this vacuum. My intention was to avoid spending $600 on a similarly designed Dyson. The suction is good, and I like that the battery is removable and is charged directly (less complicated that way). But with the power brush head attached I went from 100% to zero% in barely over 15 minutes and takes about 3 hours+ to charge. Also the dust collector won't empty fully if you have dog hair. I had to pull the entire dust bin apart in order to empty the whole upper half of the container. The convenience of having a wireless vacuum is nice and way better than those cheap "dust busters" on a long stick. I'll keep it, but it might be good to send to college with one of the kids.

My house is ~2300 sf mostly hardwood floors and some area rugs. The Eureka has a very good vacuum and is very easy to use. It fits under most furniture. The attachment for handheld use is functional. The machine is easy to clean. I vacuum weekly (and my Roomba patrols in between) and the cannister gets filled. Battery life is what it is, but was expected. I can vacuum the hole house on a charge if I move fast and smart but cannot do the furniture. So, I purchased a second battery, which I strongly recommend if your house is larger than 2,000 sf. Battery charging is slow. I have not timed it, but it takes hours. So, one has to be organized and keep both batteries charged. I recommend the product for its ease of use, and vacuum power. The buyer needs to be mindful of battery life and need for a second battery.

1. Assembly/Unboxing - There is assembly required which was fairly simple, just follow the directions. Mine came with a 50% charge. 2. Suction Power/Surface Performance - In order to get tougher/heavier things up you *must* have this on full speed and even then you're going to have to get pretty close to the debris. It's not very strong even at its strongest but it works with a little elbow grease. Works well on hard surfaces. I have a rug with longer rug hair on it and it was unusable on this due to the hairs getting stuck lol. 3. Charging Speed/Uptime - I am pretty disappointed with this part of the product. At 100% you will be lucky if it lasts 30 minutes on medium speed. Higher speeds absolutely drain this thing, but in order to get anything it's gotta be on level 2 or 3(highest). This thing takes forever to charge! I mean I have it plugged directly into the outlet and it takes multiple hours to charge! It's taken 2hr 30 minutes so far just to get back to 45% from 5%! Size/Weight - Very light weight. I'm 6'4 and it's a bit short for me as it comes to my hips or slightly above. Misc.- The light on the vacuum head is so helpful and bright, I really enjoy the light. The vacuum head also maneuvers very well and has a weight to the vacuum head which is good. It doesn't feel like it will fly out of my hand. The vacuum attachments connect well but the storage device it comes with does not hold the vacuum heads well at all, they fall off at the slightest movement of the storage device for me. It's a cute vacuum; however, the price is definitely too much, in my opinion. I feel this is worth around 79-100 dollars. But I'm not the best when it comes to determining monetary value. But over 100 is definitely not worth it.

Wow, fantastic for the price! I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner! It is very easy to use, it has adequate suction and lifts cat litter. Dust other simple debris from the carpets and floors and does it very well! The vacuum cleaner is very easy to clean is lightweight and recharge is quite quickly. I bought it because I have my cat litter box in the bathroom and I don’t like walking on litter that easily comes out of the litter box after my cat uses it. I walk around barefoot and I find that this is very easy to just pick up. Turn it on and clean up any letter that has scattered. I’ve used this also on my carpeted floors and it does a very very good job. I did purchase this as it was a return that another customer had sent in. I’m very happy!!
