This ugly looking wheel gives the first impression that it will make a mess of any cutting job. Somehow they've made it extremely aggressive without compromising a clean cut. I've used it for cutting 1/2" porcelain tiles and marble, both with great results.

This wheel is an A+ replacement for all things grinding. Getting in tight corners, cleaning off burrs, fine control and maneuverability is what this wheel has to offer. However, I would not depend on this for cutting more than an inch into material. Specifically, this thing kicks like a mule when it binds. I'm not the straightest cutter, but it seems like it kicks more than even standard cutting discs. To add onto that, God help you if you have to take the disc off afterward. I broke the disc lock on an old grinder trying to get this disc off after cutting through 1/4" steel. The kicking torqued the threads down to about 1 gigaton ft/lbs. They're relying on you running it guard-less, because you better hope your wrench fits behind the disc to remove it. The holes for a standard removal tool are about 1/16" deep. Overall: keep one flap and grinding disc around just in case, but this disc will be your go-to otherwise.

Best disc and probably the last one I will ever have to buy! I've been using this for months and it looks like it's never been used! Cuts and grinds awesome! Maybe seems expensive, but I don't see ever needing to replace it. And if I do it's warrantied!!

Was going through lots of grinding discs to cut a closet bar. Decided to switch to this and it got the job done fast and I haven’t had to replace it yet. So far, this has been a time saver and worth the value.

It's a good tool for some things, but it doesn't cut concrete very well. It's fine for light-duty cinder blocks, which is no big deal. I tried to cut a clay chimney flue liner, which was a waste of time. It cuts steel so-so, not what I thought it would be, but it has its uses.

Amazing tool, life changing.

In comparison to a quality cut off wheel, this product is much slower cutting and staff prefer the quality wheel that breaks down for speed of the work.
