It is up to the task and priced right.
I converted two Aeroscouts to EDF. One is a 50mm with a 4s 2200mah and the other is a 64mm with a 4s 3200. With both I just feed one battery after another and the esc is barely warm after a 4 minute flight with the 50mm and the 64mm will give me a solid 6 minute run time. I have another at the ready for my next build.

Works great after over a year of use!
I've had this in my Arrows Bigfoot RC plane for over a year with many flights and a few crashes and no issues whatsoever. The old esc on the plane took a dump on me on the very first flight but that's okay because the plane was pretty slow on 3s anyway. With this 50a esc I can now run 4s batteries and I get allot more power out of the plane which equals more fun.
