SELITAC 5 mmParquet and laminate flooring SELITAC 5 mm insulation panels are used in the floating installation of wood flooring, laminate flooring, wood plank flooring, floating cork parquet and chipboards. Especially with cold floors (e.g. in the basement area) the 5 mm thick polystyrene plates (contain an approximately 35 cm thick concrete slab) are great due to the high insulation value. SELITAC 5 mm leads to increased walking comfort and occasional irregularities equal to 4 mm of problems. In terms of sound reduction and impact sound reduction SELITAC reached 5 mm absolute peak values and is suitable due to its high compressive strength and the associated discharge of the interface installed well under laminate flooring (click) systems without adhesive. Due to the excellent thermal insulation properties SELITAC 5 mm is not suitable for laying on underfloor heating. SELITAC 5 mm is easy to use due to the awesome installation features easy lay, easy click and easy cut.
