Nice and sharp, had zero issues cutting and removing stitches. The hook made it very easy to get under each stitch. Word of caution, the hook is sharp as well and can easily hook skin. These worked very well to remove stitches from my cat's neck where he had a little benign bump removed. My cat goes through great anxiety even with sedation going to the vet.
