My son bought these with his own money. He was so excited when they arrived today, but he hadn’t even played with them for 10 minutes before they completely broke! These are very cheap plastic and the “sword” part very easily snaps off the handle part. My son took a sword and swung it against our couch, and the sword completely broke into a bunch of pieces. We figured maybe he swung it too hard, and it was just bad luck, but when he swung the other one, with little force, it also broke! I know you get what you pay for, but this is ridiculous. Total junk.

Definitely worth the bucks if you want to finish a costume/cosplay with accessories that can be used very lightly. Don’t buy it if you are going to extend them and swing aggressively right away. These were not meant to be used for fighting due to the quality of the plastic so don’t even try. They look good however.

The very first time I flicked the swords open to do a sword fight with my son. It flew off and broken pieces. I know it’s cheap but trash like this shouldn’t even be made.

These plastic swords are great for light play and kids' costumes, but the quality isn’t the best. They look cool and are lightweight, but they broke easily on the first day. They’re fine for casual fun, but don’t expect them to hold up for heavy-duty play.

really cool very neat quite fun but if swung too hard they break away. lots of potential to be a unique training device and toy but is easily broken

My son bought these with his allowance money and he is very happy with his purchase! He said they have held up very well and are very durable. He said they are very well made and easy to use. The size of them is perfect. The plastic is pretty thick as well.

Very simple cheap classic retractable sword that I expected not the greatest quality but does the job. I don’t think it will be durable for hard hitting or too much force on the sides of the blade due to it being hollow but on the edges at full extension it seems pretty durable. It did come with useless toppers to go over the retractable blade from coming out. They do not fit and are just a waste of extra plastic

I really wanted to like these 3D printed retractable samurai swords, but unfortunately, they didn’t meet even basic expectations. The listing photos make them look sleek and functional, but what arrived was quite different. The plastic feels very fragile — one sword jammed after just a few retractions, and the other had uneven edges that made it difficult to slide in and out smoothly. The 3D printing lines are very visible, giving it a rough, unfinished appearance. I also noticed that the colors and detailing in person are far less vibrant than shown online. While I understand this is meant to be a toy or display piece, even at that level, the build quality doesn’t justify the price. A sturdier design and more precise printing could make this a fun collectible, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it.

They came broken already My son read the reviews but he said he wanted just for show with his costume but unfortunately we will return because it came broken .

Very poor quality. When attempting to fully extend using a swiping motion, the sword would come apart. Within the first 15 minutes of the kids playing, one of the swords cracked.

Terrible. I bought two sets for my boys and they were broken within minutes of being out of the package. They didn’t even take hard play to break.
