You might look a little silly wearing it, but this head net is absolutely essential when the gnats, black flies, or mosquitoes are swarming. It's the difference between enjoying your time outside and running back indoors. The netting is a super fine mesh, so even the tiniest no-see-ums can't get through, but it's still surprisingly easy to see out of. It's very lightweight and fits easily over any of my hats, from a baseball cap to a wide-brimmed sun hat. The drawstring at the bottom is key, you can cinch it down to make sure there are no gaps for bugs to sneak in. It packs down into a tiny little stuff sack, which is perfect for just tossing in a pocket or clipping to a backpack so you always have it when you need it. For something so simple and inexpensive, the relief it provides is incredible. A must-have for gardening, hiking, or fishing in the buggy seasons.

Great adjustable fit. Great Bug protection. It's very versatile to be used with a ball cap or best with full wide brim hat. There is no zipper to be used with this product. A draw string is at the bottom and had not been needed. You can spray bug spray on the netting to keep the bugs away from the netting. The netting is thin. You can see through it without any vision impairment. It is very breathable and it's cool to wear during hot summers. You will need to be careful when getting into areas outside that may have briars and small limbs that could snag and tear it. Overall a wonderful product to keep all of the bugs that are outside off of you from your neck up.

I live in a place where fungus gnats can be so thick in the air some days that walking into a cloud feels like having a handful of sand thrown in one’s face. It can be pretty punishing for a pedestrian. These nets were a desperation move that paid off—they work just as hoped and are impervious even to the tiny gnats. Very satisfying being able to breathe freely and not have to pick gnats out of the eyes on a day when they are out in force. They tend to cling to the mesh but don’t get through and are easy to shake off later. The nets pack up compactly, and one is now standard equipment in my backpack. For fine mesh they seem sturdy enough—I have used one repeatedly and packed it back into the carrying back without taking any particular care, and it has held up fine so far. I have no complaints.

Did its job.

These nets are great! We each got a baseball cap so the visor keeps the net off your face. The nets are a good size to avoid gaps and each one has a storage bag. Happy hiking without bugs in your face!

We live on a large wooded lot surrounded by acres of woodland, so gnats are crazy in summer. Last summer’s drought brought on a new grass cutting bother, clouds of dust!! I ordered these to try to minimize the dust that layered on my face when a cut the grass, as well as keeping the bugs out of my face. Did the trick and worth the reduced visibility while wearing it! I got the kids size for my grandsons who hate the bugs, but at 2 & 5, couldn’t be bothered to even try them on!!

Cheap, lightweight and fits well. So far has been quite durable after repeated use.

Pros: This head net is long and if you have a long head+neck, it will fit you. The visibility is quite good with the mesh. I can even see through it when it is dark outside. It is lightweight, so I can wear it for hours no issue. Cons: My biggest complain is that the diameter is not wide enough. First off, a mesh(net) is only good if it doesn't touch your body because once it touches your body, the net holes can't stop gnats and flies bites(even normal clothes can't stop the deer flies and horse flies that bite me everyday on the East coast). For any head net or clothes, you MUST either buy the XXXL size such that it never touches your skin or wear it on top of your clothes such that it doesn't touch your bare skin. The problem is that since this head net isn't wide enough, a small wind always pushes the net to stick to my body skin and render this head net useless. To stop that, I used a sombrero hat that is rigid enough to keep the net away from my skin but the head net diameter won't fit the sombrero. If you intend to wear any head net or clothes net design without real hat or real clothes, then forget it because as long as the net touches your body, it's like you aren't wearing anything.

Awesome. Exactly what it was decribed

Just get this one. It's nice and long with lots of material to be able to wear a hat underneath and still have your neck protected as well as your face. Super easy to pack up also with the provided sinch bags

Ouf je respire mieux, j'avais acheté des filets de protection contre les moustiques, mais ils étaient trop petits et serrés donc le nez (!!) Était en contact avec le filet, je risquais de me faire piquer.. Ici le filet est grand assez large, je me sens mieux protégé, surtout en ce moment les moustiques font des razzia. Bon courage à tous contre ces nuisibles.

It's only 35-36" around the bottom trim, not 39" as the info says. Didn't fit my hat.
