they definitely do exactly what you need them to do there’s nothing else to it, good product easy to install

I took my car through the car wash and these hinges fell off from the brackets that go between the hinge and help prevent the screws from scratching the hood but I got rid of the little bracelet that came with these. Screws that secure the hinges on might scratch the paint under the hood but I’d rather have scratched paint at the lip under the hood than a broken windshield if the hinges were to fall off from the bracket coming loose. They also come with some L wrenches but they are very cheap and strip easily. They are also the only ones I’ve found so far that actually fit the screws that come with this set.

Fits as advertised. I took away one star because the padding could be better. I ended up using a scrap piece of neoprene for extra cushion. Not specific to this product but it takes a little getting used to having objects (ie lights) on the hood.
