Perfect, The Little Tent That Could. (Just right for a 5'5 tall person & a small service doggy).
Perfect!! (Just right for a 5'5 ft person & tiny service dog). I am so happy with my purchase - the quality and the overall value for the price!! I bought this for an outdoor adventure where some unexpected heavy rains were in the forecast & I wanted to be sure I had myself & my small service dog kept dry & warm while the storm passed. Amazon was my go to. The rains were constant for most of the night, with several periods of heavy down pour. And yes, for extra fun we had gusts of wind at 15+ mph. This was not a mellow rain shower. It was the ultimate test & my first night using it... I'm happy to say WE & everything inside stayed completely dry. Even without the steaks, the structure held up well while the gusts pounded us. Also, I set up on hardened earth where water can & does come up & mildly flood with rain like this, but that was also a non-issue. I did not use any added tarp or anything under the tent & (again) we were bone dry inside all night. Now, the condensation factor is a practical issue with any tent set-up, especially in wet weather.. I was able to partially open both the side windows to allow a little cross breeze to help with that, just enough so the rain didn't get in. And instead of zipping the front door cover closed, I left it pulled to with the screen fully closed up. There was a little moisture on the under side of my bags (gear), tracing the areas of contact on the tent floor. This I anticipated. But it was manageable & definitely expected. While time with only tell the true craftsmanship quality, I feel pretty darn confident it will hold up okay. The zippers slide with great ease. The material is just solid enough that I don't see how it would puncture easily. I also don't see any faulty seams (yet) & the double taping is solid. The design while simple seems well thought out. The height is high enough that I can sit up & move around without my head touching the top. There's a hanging hook at the top of the door way & there's a pocket under one window large enough for a large phone plus keys, etc. Room on the sides for gear, around one adult sleeping bag down the center. Just nice touches. Note, this tent feels custom made for me, my size & what I need it to do. However, I am only 5'5 tall. My service dog is not more than 5 pounds, smaller than many cats. While we were comfortable, it is definitely a ONE person tent and not long enough for many probably. My ONLY suggestion would be to double check the measurement length (if you plan to sleep in it). Realize that while you can stretch your feet to the very end of the door way side, the sides of the tent are slanted, so you'll probably want to allow a little extra room so your head isn't right up against that tight corner. If you look at the tent picture you'll understand what I mean. Otherwise, what an awesome value!!

Solid tent for basic use
I am disabled, but love camping so much and I thought I would give this style of tent a try. The quality of the fabric and seams are great. Set up is basically instantaneous if you are just chilling in it for a few hours. Breakdown is just as simple and the paper instructions included helped me figure it out. I bought a 6x8 tarp, some extra guy lines, and hiking poles and they all fit in the tent bag comfortably. This tent folds down extremely neatly and the bag barely takes up any trunk space/can easily strap to your back. It's lightweight, but nothing feels flimsy once you tie everything down. It's small, but I'm only going to be spending a few nights in it at a time. I would definitely recommend the 2 person version of this tent if you want something roomier!

Good 1-man Tent, Not Made For Rainy Weather
This tent is a good 1-man tent. Enough space for 1 person sleeping plus backpack/gear next to you in the tent, as long as you're not claustrophobic (I had a 70L frameless backpack with me in mine). This is basically a sleeping tent. Not a tent you can stand up in, or one you would want to spend a lot of time in otherwise. Crouching down or crawling around on hands and knees is all you get. Probably best suited for overnight thru-hiking on trail. Pros: 1. Small footprint, light-weight, with easy-carry handles, and backpack strap option. The shape of the tent makes for good wind resistance during high wind conditions (speaking from experience). 2. Set up is quick and easy. Less than 20 seconds (without setting the guy lines). The longest part is getting it out of the bag or staking, tying, and adjusting the guy lines, but even that doesn't take long. Tear down is quick and easy as well. I was able to tear down (guy lines included) and be ready to move in under 10 minutes without rushing. 3. Zip-cover for entrance doubles as a canopy for shade (in good weather) when used with hiking poles. 4. Waterproof tent, extreme weather circumstances excluded (see Cons for more info on this). Well-stitched seams, with durable material. Cons: 1. No Rainfly. This is a waterproof tent, as long as you aren't in heavy/sustained rains. During extreme conditions, moisture may soak through. Speaking from experience here (remnants of Hurricane Helene September 2024 in Northern KY/Southern OH, with 20+ hours of rain). If there were some type of rainfly over the tent, I think it would have held up just fine. It didn't leak, it just became overly saturated due to the amount of rainfall I experienced. 2. 3-way ventilation. There is the main entrance, and two small side zippered mesh windows only. No top mesh ventilation. If the "wall" opposite of the main entrance had an additional zippered mesh window or opening, it would maximize ventilation potential since there is no top mesh for "waterproof" purposes. However, I believe Night Cat offers 4-way ventilation in the 2-person version of this tent. Overall: I feel like this tent lives up to descriptions, again, extreme weather conditions excluded, but that probably goes for any tent. Ease of set up and tear down are a plus if you're thru-hiking and just need cover for a quick sleep, or just want something simple for overnighting somewhere on your own.

Life saver!
This tent actually saved me a couple of times because of how easy it is to set up. How it’s designed literally you can just pop it open and it’s open. You don’t have to do anything else. It’s very quick. The only reason why you would need to go and pin it down with the with the safety pins that come with it is in case it’s very windy, but if you’re sleeping in it, you don’t have to worry about that. It is the easiest thing to unfold and the easiest thing to fall back up. Very intuitive in its design. The build quality in itself was very good. You don’t necessarily feel like it’s going to leave you hanging because you need it to function as something to protect you from the elements so very good it keeps you there. No wind comes in. It keeps you nice and warm keeps you dry unless there’s a lot of dew I did notice that, a little bit of moisture came in but that was because that particular night it rained the whole night, but it kept me dry. I didn’t get wet at all.

A happy camper, even in the rain
So far I'm very satisfied with my decision to purchase this tent. It's extremely easy to set up and to pack back up, especially compared to other brands of similar style tents. I'm also impressed with the attention to details of the features of this tent, especially for this price range. I'm still waiting to see how the tent will perform in rain. I will update the review with that information. *Rain Update* We had a slow moving front come through my area last night and I was able to see how this tent performed in the rain. While not a strong thunderstorm, it did rain pretty good and for a large portion of the night. Overall I was very happy with the result. PLEASE NOTE: I purchased this tent to have something quick, easy, and compact to setup and take down for an overnight sleep. As such, I don't bother to make use of the stakes. By not using the stakes the tent wasn't as taught as it should be, which caused some areas of the tent to sag and allowed some water to collect. When I awoke I noticed a couple of drops permeating through in these areas. I'm sure that if the tent were fully taught and staked this wouldn't have happened. I woke up to my self and belongings being dry and I'm still a happy camper. Please see my notes regarding rain and waterproofing below... Speaking of rain... I've seen some reviews criticizing leaks and wanted to share some information. The very first thing you should do with a brand new tent, regardless of brand, price, and claims of "waterproof" is apply a waterproofing product. These usually come in the form of sprays. From what I've read in the description is this tent's waterproofing is based on the fabric rating. You should always apply a water repelling product to a new tent - think of it as "rain-x" for your tent. Also, nothing should touch the sides of a tent as this will make water come through regardless of waterproofing. A tarp should be used for the bottom and should never stick out beyond the edge as it will give an avenue for moisture to collect between the tarp and floor of the tent. Tuck any excess tarp under the edge of the tent and under the tarp itself.

Very long wait time before it ships.
Ease of setup: About 45 secs Ease of folding: Took about 3mins to figure out and fold back up. My son (about to be 14) wanted his own tent and camping stuff for when we went out. So I figured this would be perfect. When I got it I put it up and left it up for a bit to make sure everything was good. The quality seems good so far. The ease of putting it up and taking down is simple and fast. Its lightweight and compact great for backpacking. I can fit it in a tote with his xxl sleeping bag chair, lights, etc so everything is ready to go. The only reason it gets a 4 stars is the shipping. Not because USPS was slow at shipping it (got it in 3 days.) The company it comes from took about a month to ship it out. So be warned if.yoi buy this item to.order it way in advance or you may not get it in time.

so easy to use
Great tent can carry on back like a backpack, small, light-weight and very compact. literally throw up in air and assist the rent and its all set up! it took me 30 min to figure out how to appropriately close this thing, the directions are.... well a pic and 5 words but the only way to figure this out is to do it- pop it up and take it down. i was afraid id break the built-in poles when trying to close it- but I bent them beyond and they configured into what I needed to fit it back into the stuff sack. only draw back- it will NOT FIT into a backpack. you have to carry it or wear it as I stated. ( I have 100L backpack) overall I will be happy to trek cross country with this item. did I mention light weight? so light compared to a regular tent.

Came with burst seams
Appears to be decent enough once opened. Comes with 10 metal steaks and 4 lengths of Paracord. My issue came from buying one labelled like new and the box was toast, as well as it having popped seams in the carry sleeve. I bought this for an upcoming week long camping trip in April. (Mid February as of writing this) If I was in a time crunch I'd keep it and reinforce the blown seams but since I have time it's going back as I feel I should get what I pay (like new) not something with burst seams. It opened nicely and was what I was expecting. The take down was tricky but like anything I'm sure I'd get the hang of it. It is similar to the car windshield sun shades but more complex. The material is very thin and lightweight. I'm not sure how durable this would be for a backpacking tent. But the ease of setup may justify the annual repurchase in time saving. Would I buy it again? Probably not, at least not a like new Amazon repackage. UPDATE to ZERO STARS! Post camping trip. I would DEFINITELY NOT buy this again. The takedown is so incredibly frustrating I ended up just throwing it in the back of the pickup (as it had a canopy shell). Also, while sleeping with the windows all the way open air would not flow properly and my SP0² levels dropped enough that my alarms went off. Once I got the door screen fully open (flap and screen) the tent aired a bit. But not enough to trust sleeping in it. The windows are too high and too small to allow ventilation and I believe a pocket of CO2 built up in the 18in or so under the windows and that's what caused my blood oxygen to drop dangerously low. Once the doors opened and aired I was ok, this is dangerous and frankly scarry. Another MAJOR flaw is while the tent is technically long enough for an adult the angled ends drastically reduce the useable area. I am 5'11" and with a 1.5in thick air pad my forehead was pressed against the end as were my feet the other end. This made sleeping very uncomfortable and awkward. What time is saved in the popup setup is lost 10 fold when trying to fold it back up. After the trip I gave it to a friends kids as a play fort.

Easy to pitch, unique features and good quality materials and construction
I bought this for the odd 1 night stay on campsites, to save the faff of putting up my other more traditional style tents that have seperate poles. It is very easy to deploy and would be great if it was raining, when you needed to pitch your tent knowing it will stay dry inside inside will while you peg it out. Just big enough for 1 person plus a small 30 litre rucksak I would say, but a fair bit of head room to enable clothing change and sorting out your gear. There are 4 pegging out points on the base and 4 extra guy lines to attach higher up on the tent to give some extra stability in stronger winds. Having said that, this is not a tent you want to take out in extreme conditions and is only ok for light winds and in a sheltered position. The 3000 hh is quite impressive for this type of tent and should keep most British rain falls from leaking into the tent, helped by the heat taped seems at the joints of the materials. Another unique feature is the provision of two unzippable windows one at either side of the tent with built in bug mesh, this should also help with giving some airflow through the tent to reduce the inevitable condensation problems that you will encounter with this single skinned tent. The one access opening at the end of the tent also has a zipped bug net and an outer waterproof zipped cover for when you want to completely shut yourself inside away from the elements. This outer cover has an eyelet in two corners that can be used with a couple of trecking poles or suitable sticks to create a mini portch cover to give a degree of protection from either the sun or rain enabling a bit of a view from your spot inside the tent. There is very little room once all your kit is inside, so if you want to prepare food during inclement weather then consider nutritious snacks or pre cooked foods that can be heated with a chemical heater or eaten cold......definately no cooking stoves!!. The tent pegs that come with it are the cheepy thin steel ones that are only suitable for pitching on golfing greens!, so I suggest you at least invest in better quality ones, preferably shephard hook style ones as the loops on the tent favour this style of peg. Final thoughts: I think this is well made made using good quality materials (apart from the pegs!), It is easy to pitch and (once you practice) fairly easy to pack away. If you can accept its limitations in internal size, limited weather conditions, and prone to internal condensation problems, then this is a great little tent for easy speedy pitching and a lot less faff than a normal tent. On that basis I can recommend this as a good purchase.
