I've been growing my hair out for a few months and a lot of the products I used to use no longer give me the results I want. They all weigh my hair down and would tug my hair on application. This cream in comparison is so easy to scoop and apply to the hair, it is practically effortless. It is really lightweight but still gives great, workable hold. Plus, the result is ACTUALLY a matte finish, something that has been surprisingly difficult for me to achieve with other products. My only real complaint is that I wish it came in a slightly larger jar for the price. I'm not sure how long one jar is going to last me yet so perhaps this isn't a big deal.

The product is great, but the item came shattered. It's a glass bottle and its super easy to break... should package better or use another packaging...

Samson's haircare matte styling cream is a decent hair product. I needed something matte to keep my hair under control.Control: Medium hold. It lasts a decent amount of time. You can re-up it with some water.Scent: Kinda manly. They mention this being for men or women, I probably wouldn't give this to a women. Unless they want to be a bit more masculine.Overall it's decent. I'm not sure if I would pick it up a second time.

I keep short hair and I tried this both in fully dry hair and freshly toweled hair. It works in both, but I prefer it in freshly toweled/almost dry hair. You don't need to use a lot.This stuff is not greasy or sticky, and when you work it in, it has a very natural look. It almost reminds me of "day after" hair, which I like, but without any oiliness - and it handles frizzies really well. You can easily reshape your hair and it's one of the most matte products I've used , which I like a lot. It rinses out the hair easily in the shower.It smells great to my nose (and my GF likes it too) - it has a subtle, almost citrusy hint to it, with a little bit of warm woodiness, and there is a tiny bit of sweetness at the end - but not perfumy or feminine at all. It kind of reminds me of a Terre d' Hermes type of scent in a way, very pleasing. It doesn't really project, especially when it dries down.Overall good stuff. Works great in my hair. I definitely like how natural it looks and feels - it's hard to find products that achieve this.

This has a really good medium hold to hair so it still looks somewhat natural, but with a perk. It has a matte finish meaning that it doesn’t make your hair look or feel greasy when it is in. I really like the smell of this material because it is man-ly but not too overpowering. Like I can still wear my normal cologne and this scent doesn’t affect it in anyway. Really nice and use it all the time now

This came in a nice looking jar. The product itself smells great. I like the non-sticky texture which made it easy to apply. I like the matte finish and that it stays that way over time. The cream does had good hold initially but doesn't seem to last that long. I find myself having to re-wet it to activate it again. I think this would work better for people looking for a light hold.
