I was a bit doubtful at first, I usually am with tools that claim to be really easy to use. But when I got home, I didn’t even get a chance to try it myself. My wife was already in the garden, laughing at how easy it was to pull out all the annoying weeds. She showed me how it works. Just line it up, push it down with your foot, tilt it to the side, and you’re done. It’s really simple to use, pulls weeds out with hardly any effort, and no more sore back afterwards. I also wasn’t sure how strong the foot part would be, but since you just lean it to the side, it doesn’t take much force, so there’s not much strain on it. Good price, certain seems strong enough to use and very lightweight. Not too heavy to hold for a long time. Looking forward to weeding now.

Such a great tool — it really saves time and energy, cuts down on unnecessary effort, and protects your hands from any prickles. Definitely recommend!

Brilliant but of kit

This weeder does actually work for removing weeds, especially tap rooted weeds (dock, dandelions, thistles) and other things you don't want to touch (nettles). It did take some practice to get used to, and with my clay soil it does get a little gunked up. However, it's a lot faster than other methods I've tried, and less likely to just pop the top off the weed than the alternative pronged lifter arrangement.

You know when something just works, first time, like you hope it would? This is that thing! I have lots of weeds throughout my grass (moss!) and these really pull them out at the root in one pull. Plus no need to bend down, saving your back! Can’t comment on how long it’ll last as this is its first go, but looks like a solid bit of kit that should hold up to the test of time! Would buy again

If weeds can laugh, they’ll be in hysterics if they see you walking towards them with one of these in your hands. It is not particularly good at removing them, leaves part of their root in the ground and so hey presto a week or so later the weed is back with a vengeance! …. So much so that I’ve decided on a radical solution; to end my battle with weeds once and for all by and developing a diverse nature friendly garden with a blend of whatever flowering weeds lands in it, making this an obsolete item.

I have servere arthritis so my mobility is limited & I am unable to kneel down to weed so I thought I'd look for a weeder that would work upright & didn't require bending. I did some research & liked the simplicity of this weeder so I order one. I have been able to weed most of my backyard from crabgrass in just a matter of minutes. I don't like using chemicals as I have a dog & it's not good for the environment so this is the go to tool for removing those stubborn weeds from your lawn. I absolutely love it & even though I have arthritis it is still very easy to use & also helps keep me active in the garden. 5 stars for sure.

Today, we finally took possession of a beautiful John Deere Riding mower that cost thousands. One of our biggest investments in years. It delivered and promptly refused to start. So we sent it back to the dealer to be repaired. On the same day, I noticed that our recently completely overhauled large yard, which we paid thousands to have weeded, cleared and mulched by a top local contractor, was already sprouting weeds, everywhere - 2 weeks after the job had been completed. DEEP weeds, and THROUGH the mulch itself. Several months prior, USPS managed to lose a $1,000.00 family heirloom. We opened a "mail search" request with 0 traction. Then contacted the "USPS Consumer Advocate" and received diddly squat in terms of traction or assistance. We then filed an insurance claim for the amount it had been insured at ($500) - provided proof of value at easily $1000+ dollars, a list of active and sold comparables and today, received a reimbursement check from USPS ---- for $315.00. No explanation. No reasoning, just "here's a check for $315", go away. What's my point here? Well, very simply put, EVERYTHING IS BROKEN. NOTHING WORKS. You can't buy anything, you can't hire anyone, you can't mail anything, you can't insure anything, you can't travel anywhere, you can't even come home from the grocery store without finding half your GD asparagus is rotten. NOTHING WORKS. EXCEPT - - this FRIGGIN TOOL! I used it today to blow off some steam. It was and IS, the best Dandelion weeder I have ever used. It's wood. It's metal. It's sturdy. It's SIMPLE, and it friggin' WORKS. Sometimes it's the little things guys. My back thanks this company. My sanity thanks this company. BUY THIS TOOL. IT WORKS.

We have a massive weed problem this spring. I spent a few days using a Fiskar's puller and then a few days using this one. I far and away prefer Grampa's Weeder. It's lighter and more precise and the iron plucker is sturdy and pulls HUGE prickly weeds and dandelions and various assorted weeds out clean, even when they come with 10 inch roots. I have been so impressed with it. Only downside is that it doesn't have an ejector so you have to put a glove on one hand and pull the weed off the end each time. However, this also makes it much easier on the back, shoulders and arms, as I feel like the extractors on plastic weeders also takes more muscle/effort. If you are older, have mobility issues or have an injury in the shoulder or arm - this is the one to go with, as it makes weeding your yard a more leisurely (and somehow satisfying) task. Because you can clearly see the claw, it's much easier to position it right over the centre of the weed and get a precise and perfect pull the first time, which I wasn't able to do a lot of times with the heavier plastic weeders. So happy I bought this as it's a total game-changer for my weeding and gardening. At first I wasn't sure something so light and simple would be effective but I was blown away at how well it works. Highly recommended! Also - best time to use weeders like this is just after it rains, or first thing in the morning when the soil is still damp and soft.

This tool is a total game changer! Last year I made an 80 foot garden bed that this year is full of crabgrass and me being a 73 year old senior outside trying to pull that stuff up runners and all it was a nightmare I thought it was going to have a stroke! I ordered this and it is a game changer I went out today and did twice the work in less time ...it pulled everything up! Roots runners and all I totally love it it is a lifesaver for me. Everyone should have one of these in their garage and even if I only use it this one time it's totally worth it but I know I'm going to be using it for years to come very sturdy very easy to use and I'm not on my hands and knees ripping things up I'm standing up and just pulling the weeds up I really totally love it and can't say enough about it I would give it 10 Stars if I could!!!
