I purchased these to use for our church. Specifically for use in our student ministry. We have two iPad's that we use for all of our event registration & they were laying on the table and easily overlooked. This product did exactly what we needed it to do. The iPad's are now raised up, free standing, and much more visible. Pros: -iPad fits snugly (iPad 4 retina version) -iPad is very secure. If needed, you can screw the stand to the floor (screws included) -Looks great -Very well packaged. The boxes are very well packed and the items arrived flawlessly. -The stands are sturdy and well made. They're light enough to move around, but big enough they're unlikely to "walk away". Cons: -One downside is that you don't have access to the power button. So your iPad will always remain on, and you cannot put the display to sleep. This isn't a huge deal for me. I just decreased the time the screen stays on after the last time it's touched. -It isn't hard to put together, but it's not the easiest thing either. Having a second person is a big help.

I picked up this unit for a trade show using an iPad 1. The build quality is good and was easy to put together. I had to cut some of the rubber locating pads to make my iPad 1 fit but that was super easy with an Exacto knife and a little patience. I bought an extra long extension charge cord from Micro Center to power it all day. I also bought a small round speaker and mounted it on the pole, under the display, with some aggressive double-sided tape. This really improved the sound projection at a noisy trade show. To run the video in a loop I downloaded a free app called Loopy and it worked great. The home button lockout feature is nice and keeps people from accessing your iPad info.

We are using these for children's check-in stations at church. The only drawback is that the power button for the iPad is not accessible. Ok, technically you can get to it through a tiny hole if you happen to get lucky and land on the button, but the power button is also half covered by the protective bumper inside (we use iPad 4th gen). So, the iPads must stay powered on until I take them apart. Aside from that flaw, the stands are solid, sturdy, look good, and I feel safe having them out of a locked office because they are difficult to swipe (not tamper proof per se as only two star screws hold the top plate in place...but who carries around a star bit with them on the fly?).

I like the overall unit and it is sturdy. After that we'll good luck. I had this shipped to me directly to a show and once it arrived it took we a cutting tool and about an hour to make it work. The little rubber pieces they send are random and there is no directions to tell you what goes with what. They do have letters but so what if you don't know what letters go with what. Need more instructions in the box and need to be very clear on what ipad fits in here.

Functional, sturdy, easy to move around. Priced right, purchased twice.

We got this to support a Karaoke use case. We use a 2015 iPad pro to run an app called Karafun and alternately to play videos from a popular video site where there are Karaoke versions of songs posted. The original tablet stand kept tipping over so we wanted something more sturdy that could be operated with one hand to find and play songs. We also wanted something that inebriated folks wouldn't easily trip over. This is what we chose. It took a couple hours to get it together and have it work. We couldn't find a single audio cable that worked with the skinny hole in the stand so we had to drill the case out in order to make it work. We did get it to work and it's very sturdy and we've already used it for an event: lots of compliments vs what we had before. But if I had to do this again I would probably pick a case that has more modern fittings. When we buy new iPads I don't think they will work well with this stand and I don't really want to have to drill a stand again just to use a standard cable.

Materials seem sturdy but item does not fit the iPad in the description. Very disappointing.

I would give this item 10 stars if I could! It arrived on time. Well packaged. Very Sturdy, nice heavy metal. Easy Instructions. I use it with my iPad to capture leads at tradeshows using a FREE app called iCapture that feeds directly into Constant Contact. What I love best about it is that IT (the stand) draws people to my booth!!! They all want to try it! There was a line at my booth just to enter their information. What more could I ask for??? Note: I did need to create my own USB extension cord because the standard apple charger cord is not long enough to go down the pole that conceals the wire. Excellent!

Fantastic not sure why there are terrible reviews it is amazing very sturdy and heavy won’t tip over in my spa. Aonly thing I bought it at 69.99 and then came back and it was $20’cheaper a day later. I say it’s a steal of a deal I may grab another one at this price!!!

Its not the best fit since its for different ipads, the connector has little room on ipad 2. but delivered quick and is made of good materials

I just used this at a trade show to capture leads, and most people were quite impressed. the iPad was secure but highly visible the entire time.

Just needs to be a bit more sturdy and needs a bit more room for the connectors do you are not bending the wires so tightly at the connectors.
