As a Sharpie Loyalist...These are Perfect
I went into this fully prepared to be loyal to my usual Sharpies and mildly skeptical of anything trying to compete, because I have standards and they are aggressively ink-based. As someone who reaches for a marker before anything else, I wasn’t expecting to feel anything beyond “yeah okay, this works.” Instead, this set quietly surprised me in a way that felt less like betrayal and more like discovering a new branch of the same family tree. The color payoff is strong, smooth, and consistent, and it immediately gave my sketches a more polished, intentional look. There’s a noticeable difference when you’re working with tools that are clearly designed with artists in mind rather than just general use. I found myself slowing down a little more, actually thinking about layering and tone instead of just committing to bold lines and calling it a day. It still scratches that same itch I get from Sharpies, but with a bit more nuance and flexibility. At one point I caught myself saying “okay wait… this looks kind of good,” which is always a dangerous level of confidence. By the end of the first session, I was already mentally reorganizing my supplies to make room for these. What I appreciate most is that they feel like a solid middle ground between casual markers and more serious art tools without being intimidating. They’re easy to pick up and use, but they also reward you a little if you put in the effort to blend or layer. The ink flow is reliable, and I didn’t run into any weird skipping or inconsistency, which is something I’m always watching for. They don’t completely replace my Sharpies, but they absolutely earned a permanent spot next to them, which is saying a lot. If anything, they’ve expanded how I approach coloring and sketching instead of replacing what I already like. This feels like the kind of set you reach for when you want to do a little more than just fill space. It’s not overwhelming, but it definitely nudges you toward being more intentional with your work. For a Sharpie loyalist, this was a surprisingly easy addition to the lineup. I came in skeptical and left fully on board.

lots of color choices
I ordered the Amazon Basics Fine Tip Point Permanent Markers for Office, School, and Home Use, Assorted Colors, 24 Pack to use at local community meetings for writing on name tags, signage, flip charts, and the like. All the different colors are fun and give you a lot of variety and choice. Most of the colors are fairly bright and easy to see, although some of them don't offer much contrast on white paper, such as yellow, light pink, and peach. The pens write smoothly without the ink clumping or smearing. The tops seal well and so far, no leaking. I like that the ink doesn't seem to have any sort of odor. The pens seem well made and should last a long time if stored properly. My only dislike is some of the lighter and odd colors, such as the yellow (which has a bit of a green tint), the grey (not sure when I'd ever use it), the light brown (not all that visible), and the light pink (also not all that visible). Overall, these markers are an excellent set that give you many color choices at a reasonable price.

The colored inks may bleed on certain surfaces
My review is for the colored markers on surfaces that may get wet. No matter how long it’s been dried for (my ink was dry for the whole weekend and bled on Monday morning), water will cause the ink to bleed. I haven’t had the problem with the black ink though. It works well on paper, so if you’re using these to color for a project go for it.

Good quality and quantity for the price.
Solid choice for bulk colours of sharpies. Seems to be just as good as name brand.

Great Value Decent Markers
I have used the quite expensive branded marker, but the cost of adding colour seemed a bit too much. This pack gives you 3 black and 3 blue, the 2 of red, green and purple. I use them for marking out of DIY and craft projects, drawing on paper, wood and plastic. These are medium tipped and produce good clear lines. I don't use them extensively, but I've had them a while and they're still going strong. I don't know how they compare to the big make for longevity, but at this price, that is not a problem.

Very Good Ones
These are good quality markers and for the price, it is value for money. You get the exact same shades as shown - 3 each of Black and Blue and 2 each of Red, Green and Purple. The nibs are somewhat pointed and you will be able to write on most surfaces. I bought these as part of a house shifting to mark boxes, packing tapes, plastics etc. and they worked well on all of these surfaces. Where I found these to be light in shade when writing, I just wrote on top of the original writing one or two more times, so that they would appear nice and dark. These dry and stay well enough as far as my experience is concerned. My only issue is that I wish these came in packs of six or less as the twelve of them were way too many for me.
