4 year review ... I love this stuff!!
This is our second purchase of this amazing tire sealant. I think I submitted a review after our first purchase, but I thought I should report back after having it in our 4"x26" fat tires for the last four years and several hundred miles. My wife and I don't ride a lot of rough trails, but we do run into our share of goats head thorns and other nasty flat makers. The first year we owned our e-bikes I was constantly fixing flats even after trying tire liners and other sealants. I finally landed on this stuff and WOW! No flats flats (with one exception which I'll explain) in four years. The one flat was actually not a complete flat. We were in Jackson Wyoming getting ready to ride up to Jenny Lake from Moose. My wife got on her bike and I noticed the rear tire was low. As I spun it around I saw a huge goats head buried in the tire. When I pulled it out it immediately began to leak air ... a lot of air. Spitting on the hole produced huge bubbles and I thought for the first time in a long time I might have to patch it. Knowing that it still had FlatOut in the tire I told my wife to ride it around the parking lot and come back to see if the FlatOut could stop the leak. She did; and when she returned I spit on the hole and ... nothing, no bubbles - the leak was stopped by the FlatOut! We refilled the tire and have ridden over 200 miles since without an issue. I love this stuff.

went beyond my expectations
I'm a mechanic and former professional tire tech. I had an old tire that had started to separate from the carcass, as I put air in it would bubble up where the tire separated from the carcass.. this tire should not be repaired or repairable. This is on a work van in a salvage yard, so constantly running over stuff and always low speed and off road.. this product does clog at the valve stem. I needed to brake the bead on only 1 side of the tire and install the product through the gap.. worked perfectly. I'm going to order more so that it is in all 4 tires. I'm also going to order some for my personal vehicle. Excellent product, went beyond my expectations

This product has been solid for me for a long time
This is an excellent product for quality and reliability. It has been several months now and I have not had any issues with my tires. This product is very easy to install into your bike tires all by yourself. I would definitely purchase this again as this is a must for anybody who uses their bike on and off the road.

Double check valve for leaks after using Flat Out! Best sealant on the market!!
Best sealant on the market...A bit of a challenge to use...IMPORTANT: after adding to your tire/tube, DOUBLE CHECK that there is NO AIR LEAK with the VALVE CORE with a little soapy water!! Sealants can gum up valve cores!!! I had to replace my valve core with a fresh one because of this (very simple process) invest in a valve core kit (cheap)!!!! I feel very confident with Flat Out in my fat tire ebike!!!!

It should be illegal to not use this in your bike tube!
I used to get 5-8 flat tires in a year for all family bikes, and got really tired (pun intended) for constantly patching/replacing tube on the curb. Until I found Flatout and added it to all our tubes. GAME CHANGER. 2 years now and ZERO flat tire for the entire family — our combined mileage is about 6000-8000mi/year. Last month before I was ready to start my commute I found one tire was flat. For a second I was a little disappointed but then told myself it’s not too bad to have first flat tire in 2 years with Flatout. I was ready to take the wheel apart and do my old repair job. Then I decided to take a closer look first — turned out, there was a goathead (those spiky things from our trees here, see photo) stuck on the tire, which prevented the sealant from working. So I pulled it out by hand, added air to the tire — at first I could hear a little hissing sound and see a drop of white sealant coming out from it. But after spinning the wheel for 20 seconds it completely stopped. So it turned a planned full wheel removal to 2 min repair job — technically there’s no repair. Just air + spin. Since then the tire is holding up air pressure like new. Also, last time I upgraded my gravel bike to carbon wheels, I was reusing my inner tube (with Flatout in it) and found a couple wet spots between inner tube and tire, which indicated a couple times the sealant saved me from flat tire — and I felt absolutely nothing and the tire never showed any problem of holding air. So that’s how I know this thing really works, besides the stats of going from 5-8 per year to zero in 2 years. Also search some flatout test videos on YouTube, someone tested it with a 1/4” drill and it sealed. Adding it to Schradder valve is a 5 min job — you don’t even need to remove the wheel from the bike. Presta is tougher but doable. The toughest ones are Presta without a removable core. I had to break the tip of the pin to fully remove the stopping screw, then pushed the core into the tube but used a binder clip to hold it in place from outside of the tube. Then wrapped the Presta valve with some electric tape so it can fit snug with the Flatout filling pipe. Let it flow into the valve slowly. No burst move as it would stop when trying to pass thru the narrow valve (that’s how it’s designed to seal the leaks). It was quite some work (and if lose your Presta core inside the tube, it will take quite some time to fish it out by feeling it from outside). But hey, it lasts 10 years so I practically do this once per tube. The plastic scheradder core remover that comes with Flatout bottle isn’t very good to be honest. Spend a few dollars to buy a metal one and it makes your job easier. I know some riders like tubeless. Totally up to individual preference. For me, I don’t want to clean and re-add tubeless sealant every half to 1 year. Inner tube + Flatout is such a perfect solution for me. Be mindful about different formulas. QuickStick Small Tire is perfect for most bikes. Sportsman works for bikes too (that’s my choice before QS was available). I think other formulas are built for other kind of tires, so not suitable for bikes.

Makes a mess because this bag style clogs up and the top doesn't stay tight
The top was loose and it seemed some product was missing, I tried to use it that way and got as much of this on the floor as you get into the tires. The first tire wasn't as bad, but it clogged, so you need to remove the top and try to twist it back on and it never becomes fully tight, it can twist back loose as soon as it feels a little tight. You need to do this over and over too to unclog the actual bag itself. The second tire had me doing that at least 20 times, used abut 50 paper towels, the stuff is slippery and gets all over your hands, the valve and floor, lots of cleanup. I hope it at least stops leaks after all that work. I do not recommend this bag style after I went through this mess, ity seems defective. Watch some videos and it seems easy enough, but they never show you the second tire or the cleanup or clogs, so the instructions seem simple, but the reality is a lot more than that.

REALLY good stuff
I am an avid "road" and bike trail cyclist. I say "road" in quotation marks because I hesitate to ride on most roads where I live, but I do regularly ride a highway with a great bike lane. But... I used to get flats. A LOT of flats. But as soon as I put this into my tubes, issue went completely away. Five stars? Absolutely.

Easy to install peace of mind
Based on all the positive reviews out there about this product, I used this in my fat tire e-bike as soon as I bought it. I don't know how many flats I would have had, but I've ridden over 1,000 miles without a single problem. Maybe I'm lucky, or maybe the product works like a champ. Either way, it's great insurance against a flat tire - one of the worst experiences in biking. Some people say it's expensive, but it's actually quite the opposite. I think the people that say that haven't had to replace their original (cheap) innertubes. I just bought good innertubes from Kenda and they were $24 each, which makes this a no-brainer. It's guaranteed to last 10 years - that would be at least 40,000 miles for me, so basically the life of my innertubes. It's not at all messy to install if you follow the instructions. A block can happen occasionally, but it's really easy to clear and continue filling. I've only used the bags and not the pump, so I can't vouch for the pump either way. But since the cleanup is water and a paper towel, installing this in your tires is nothing to be afraid of. If you have a clog, stop and clear it before putting excessive pressure behind it, because I can see where that would cause a mess. Just disconnect the hose and take care of the problem, reattach the hose and continue. I think I had to do that once during the installation of two tires. Again, I'm using the bag and not the pump. I expect it to function as designed since I've seen youtubers doing tests for functionality and it definitely works. It's great peace of mind when you're miles away from home and there's almost no chance of you getting a flat tire.

Fat tyres must have 🫡
Purchased this for my fat tyre ebike. Very easy to use, half a bottle in each tyre 26x4 inch. Hopefully it does what it claims. Flatout must be confident as they offer a free tube replacement if the product fails. Piece of mind for long distance riding 🫡

Gives me trust at least.
Really like this. Far as I know it's not been called upon but who can know for sure. Anyway, it gave me the confidence to go riding in the woods a little more. I think I am OK to trust it, I really hope I never get any more punctures...EVER!

Failed to seal faulty new inner tube on an e-bike
Failed to seal two pinholes on a defective e-bike new inner tube (or which I accidentallly pinched). Any excuse that the sealant failed to spread before riding is invalid because I always massage in before fitting to wheel. So I patched the first hole, to find it lost pressure again leaving left a wet hole obetween the inner and tyre n the second pump! It appears either not to work at all or takes too long to seal. I have kept the sealant in the tube after the 2nd patch, but have very little faith in it. Always carry a spare inner!
