L'Oréal Paris Setting Spray, Infallible 3-Second Makeup Mist for Face, 75ml

This setting spray is a god send, it locks my makeup in place without adding a wet or overly glowy sheen which some other "dewy effect" setting sprays do. I find that applying this does not move or alter the makeup applied at all, just simply locks it in place over top. This for me, is the only setting spray that I have tried which keeps my makeup looking fresh on nights out or over long 12 hour days, it really does make a difference compared to other products I have used. I have really sensitive, acne prone skin, and have had no problems with this.I have used this product before and was a little disappointed in how quickly it ran out, so the XL option is great for extending the lifespan of your product. What I will say, is that the smell of this product mirrors hairspray very closely, so closing your eyes and mouth and opening a window is definitely advisable when using. Aside from that, I love this product and will keep repurchasing in the future.

The best setting spray ive ever used, it is quite like hairspray so i would recommend covering your hair unless its slicked back with gel or hairspray anyways, it lasts a whole Saturday night out and my makeup is still intact after a snooze, you can unfortunately feel it on your face as it makes your face feel a bit stiffer but other than that its practically weightless on the skin and its so cheap for working SO well, i recommend this to anyone whos prone to touching their face - or has a boyfriend and always ends up with their makeup half gone after boyfriend air - if you do buy this as someone whos used this for a while now my recommended use is 1. Get makeup done without doing any lip products, 2. Cover hair with something 3. Cover eyes with something if you have mascara on - if you have lashes it will be okay, 4. Spray on the face all over, 5. Translucent setting powder lightly tapped over any shiny sections, 6. Enjoy your makeup lasting ALL day

First off, is this basically like spraying hair spray in your face? Yes. Amazingly, though, it doesn't set off my asthma like hairspray does. I'd definitely recommend holding your breath whilst spraying, and for a few seconds afterwards.It works REALLY well, but obviously don't expect miracles. I put setting sprays and make up through the wringer - I'm a swimming teacher, it's very hot and humid pool side, and I get splashed a lot. This, for the most part, keeps my make up in tact for my whole shift, which is impressive. The only things that rub off are my eyebrows (usually my fault itching them or wiping water from my face being splashed. Also my lips, but I would expect that anyway, especially as I don't generally use long wear lip products. My base make up generally stays put however, which is the main thing.One thing I will say, you need to shake it before you spray it to get a nice, fine mist. If you don't, it'll come out in big drops which can make your make up look patchy. When shaken first, it won't just keep your make up in place, it'll help it all meld together nicely too, so it doesn't look cakey. It's not matte or radient, it's a nice natural sheen somewhere in the middle. I personally like a bit of a glow, so I use a glowy setting spray too.I'm on my fourth can now, so I have been testing this for a long time, and I'll keep buying it because nothing else I've used compares.Reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because I think it's expensive for a small can which doesn't last me as long as I like (about a month if I use it daily.) It's also basically hairspray for your face so not the most pleasant sensation or smell. I'd like it to be cheaper for the current size, or a much bigger bottle for the price. It is substantialy cheaper on Amazon, however, and it goes on sale for very reasonable prices, which is when I tend to stock up on it.Overall, I would highly recommend it and I will continue to keep using it, as nothing I've used comes close to comparing to the effectiveness of this setting spray.

I have never used a setting spray but heard so much about them so this one was one a friend told me about. I am beyond impressed. It's so easy to use and a lightweight spray. It does not leave your face glowing which is perfect. The picture is off my makeup being removed at the end of a day where the weather was so hot. Normally my makeup would be gone and sweated off but this was still on. Unbelievable longevity and finish. The only negative is the slight smell similar to hairspray but I can put up with that if my make up stays put like this. Fab product.

Wow this setting spray i cannot praise highly enough. Its honestly the best setting spray i have ever used. Ive tried lots of others but found quite alot of more expensive brands just dont have that staying power that this does. Its amazing and such a good price. Keeps my make up in place all day. No budging until i take it off at night with miceller water. This is what i want out of a setting spray and such a good price. This is definitely a keeper in my make up routine. Try it, you wont be disappointed!!

Was a bit worried about this as people were saying it has a hairspray feel but wow does it hold makeup in place. Bit sticky at first but dried beautifully

I’m extremely impressed!After using many other setting products before I have found this product to actually work very well! I have found this product does not transfer much at all and leaves my makeup lasting all day! I tend to have oily skin when wearing makeup and this kept my makeup looking matte all day with no touch’s ups. After being out in the sun, eating, drinking, touching my face i can honestly say by the end of the day my make up looks the same as it did when i first done it!As a test I wore a cream coloured hoody to try it out and to my surprise I got NO transfer when I pulled the hoody over my face! normally I get a orange collar at this point even after using other setting sprays. I must admit by the end of the day there was a small amount of transfer but nothing compared to other products and my collar had been rubbing against the makeup all day!The spray is similar to hairspray and did feel like a had sprayed my face with hairspray however this definitely did the job and is staying in my makeup routine for sure!I was expecting it to be a slightly bigger bottle but hopefully it lasts long enough as other wet setting sprays I have used daily have lasted up to 3 months.Only just purchased and used but I have to review and let you all know this is definitely worth a buy!Dried quickly and left no sticky residue.
