Seems flimsy, but it held up to almost daily use.
It's held up well but definitely for a smaller car or maybe a mid-size sedan... It does not work in the smaller SUV or larger SUV we have. But it fit our Toyota sedan very well. It folds and opens with no issue after a year or so of abuse.

Does not fit 2016 Chevy Cruze
It is a cool product, it’s easy to use and figure out without instructions and easy to store in your car, please double check sizing of product and your car, I own a 2016 Chevy Cruze and amazon said it would fit in my car when adding my vehicle description in however it was way too big for my windshield and the other size option is bigger so that’s a no go the feel was also a little flimsy it felt if I pulled it too hard it would easily snap

Easy, “pop up” car shade. Good size for large windshields.
This front window car shade is a neat concept. I like the “umbrella” aspect of it, expanding out and collapsing back in when using. It’s not a perfect fit for my car, but it gets the job done and helps protect my dashboard from getting overheated in this unbearable Alabama summer weather. I’m sure if I were driving a larger vehicle, like an SUV, it would be a better fit. It does makes my car noticeable cooler when I put it up.

Too complicated to close easily (I returned it)
I know, it's practically an umbrella right? Wrong. Sure it's designed to work like one but it does not close like one. I had to guide the corner arms in line because they wanted to fold out and not inline as intended. Too complex for something that should be quick (like an umbrella). We stuck with the twist-and-fold style like we already have in all our other cars

Not so happy with product
It didn't last long before it broke down on one side and the handle. You get what you pay for. It said it fit my vehicle, but I had a hard time making it work. The only good side of it is the easy installation, opening, and closing.
