My daughter has an autoimmune disease and from the injections she is on she ended up with a side effect of psoriasis. The medication the dermatologist gave to us helped but it didnt help with the itching. I googled and found this product its the number one for psoriasis. Yes it has a nasty smell but after using it daily you get use to the smell and its not a bother if a 9 year old can deal with it then anyone can deal with it. I rather it smell like crap and it work then it to smell lovely and not work. This stuff is magic after using it every day and washing with a wound wash her doctor suggested they are going away. Shes no longer itchy and it has taken 80% of her psoriasis away. I will continue to buy this product to help my child and you should too for any of your family members suffering from psoriasis.

Somehow, I got skin mites, or some kind of parasite on both of my hands and wrist Very itchy rash and bumps, so I ordered sulfur soap and bought sulfur cream along with this coal tar ointment. Alternated using sulfur and coal tar on my wrist and hand area.. I actually sleep with this ointment on both of my hands at night with disposable gloves that are very loose fitting this works amazing. The rash is going away. The itchiness is going away the dryness the redness is healing. You just have to keep doing this every night. I also use tea tree oil and coconut oil as well on both hand and wrist Of course I went to the doctor who said it was eczema, which it is not. It is a parasitic skin infection. Sometimes you have to do your research and figure things out yourself and that’s what I did. . I also take 2 or 3 tablespoons of ACV with the mother in a cup or two of grape juice every day which really helps along with msm supplements and 50 mg of zinc 2 and. 3 times a day, because you have to treat your body from the inside out Stop eating sugar stop eating junk food, don’t drink alcohol and eat healthy, whole fruits and vegetables and clean your body out from the inside out. I juice vegetables and fruit daily along with smoothies that include vegetables garlic, onions, cloves and cayenne pepper. Everybody has parasites inside their body as well, so you have to treat the inside of your body if you want to get rid of them completely This keeps your body to not become a host to all the different living parasites out there.. Hope this helps with skin parasites. Coal tar and sulfur is great for dogs and cats too! Highly recommend this coal tar ointment!

Very soothing and it really does help to calm the burn and accelerate the sloughing off of scales. I use it on my face and so the greasiness is a bit problematic, but I suppose that's part of why it's so soothing. Also the coat tar scent is very strong, but fades after about an hour.

This stuff is incredible. Absolutely amazing. I have had psoriasis my entire life. My ENTIRE life. I went through -middle school- with psoriasis on my FACE. Stress is my trigger. UV helps some, but not enough to get a prescription. This stuff is strong and works incredible. I just can't get over it. I put it on once a week at MOST, when I know I can be in shorts all day long (it's the worst on my legs). I let it sit all day and do my best to not rub it off. I use a (3d printed) makeup spatula to apply it. The next few days are some pain for sure. But after that... HEALING. My legs haven't looked this good in literally over a decade. I used to try to dig holes to China through my shins. I've gone through less than a dozen applications and it's just amazing the difference. Don't get me wrong. I hate ointment. It sits on you all day and is greasy and gross. I feel like I'm wiping it on all my couches and stuff. It smells terrible (but doesn't seem to have a far reach). I don't know how to apply it for inverse areas. I've started using a qtip for my hairline and at my part. But honestly... It's worth it. For the healing I've experienced (and I've done everything except biologics), this stuff is worth it. It's worth the smell, the grease, the awkwardness, the "I'm too cold because I'm in shorts and its winter". I've recommended it to other people. I'm blown away by how well its worked. I'm so grateful this stuff is out here and affordable and OTC and just everything. I'd hug it if it didn't smell so bad hahaha

My sister suggested this when my plaque psoriasis took off in my 40s, 20-years ago. I used it at night (smells!!!) for about a month and the plaquing (elbows, heels of hands, hairline) was gone. Not just gone, but gone for several years. She had the same experience. Then time passed, I forgot all about it, and the dermatologist gave me Clobetasol, which is terrific, and works terrifically fast, but it's a very strong steroid and you kind of need to stay out of the sun with it. Then I remembered my old pal MG217 (and also discovered their Salicylic acid, which also works and doesn't smell).

this was recommended by my doctor unofficially. it does work. i know tis stinky but only for a short time. if you stick with it it works at least for me

After trying many "cures" for my Psoriasis including prescriptions with not much success I decided to try a Coal Tar treatment something I have never used before. I was not expecting this product to smell like gasoline. I am not even going to try it. I am not interested in smelling gasoline all the time or especially smelling like gasoline. I wish I could return this but no returns are allowed. I knew that but was not expecting a problem. I put it straight into the trash.

Ive had this for a week now , i believe its working but only time will truly tell… my only complaints at the moment are the consistency(very oily) , transferability and strong smell which were to be expected from these type of medications however

I’ve had psoriasis for over 30 years and used many treatments, including steroid creams. Steroids helped for a while but the psoriasis always came back after stopping them. After trying this product, I’m really impressed. My psoriasis improved about 90%, especially on my scalp and body. It has a strong smell and oily texture, but the results are worth it. For me, it worked almost like magic compared to what I used before.
