Good product I bought mine before a hip replacement get it early takes some time to learn some finesse tricks to make it easy

For years I would cringe when told that the only thing to help with the swelling is compression socks. It wasn't because of vanity, it was because both my husband and I would try every trick in the book including using a plastic bag over the foot, also have purchased other aid devises which didn't help. FINALLY I can put those socks on by myself. The smooth surface of the sock shaft, the no skid pad and the gripping glove is key. If you struggle like I have this will be a blessing.

very difficult to use even with help. I have a bad knee and can't get my leg high enough in stockimg area . the stocking slides back up as well. I am returning it

It took a little while to get the hang of it. A lot better than the plastic bag trick. The gloves are the biggest help. I am a little concerned about the plastic holding up. You puy a lot of pressure on the plastic handles

I now have arthritis so putting compression socks on are very difficult to put on. Even when they say “easy on/off. But this contraption is definitely worth every penny you spend for it!! I struggled for weeks trying to put compression socks on. Even had my husband helping me get them on. Then the other day I saw this on Amazon. And my first thought was another scam!! Was I surprised upon using it this morning! Set it up, place my sock on it, slipped my foot inside as directed and pulled my compressor sock partially halfway up then used the gloves that came with it to pull and smooth the sock the rest of the way up! Ater struggling to put on compression socks for 5 months with an aid provided by my care team, I purchased this sock aid. What a difference. They slide on so easily now and I can adjust the alignment easily by using the green mat. This is a gamechanger.

MATERIAL IS HARD PLASTIC. SCRATCHES THE LEG. VERY DIFFICULT TO PUT LEG INSIDE.

Even with this aide I still need my husband’s help. Handles aren’t long enough, difficult to get 20/30 stocking on and the directions even with the video are inadequate. I still have difficulty deciding how much of the stocking to leave in the tube before putting my foot in.

Purchased for my 92 yr old father who has trouble lifting his leg. Handles not quite long enough. Also the gloves don't grip well so when you try to slide the sock with them the glove slips. My father can't use it at all. I now use it but just to get it over my foot and then I use a rubber glove to slide it the rest of the way. I personally would not recommend it. Feel it is way overpriced.

My partner has just amputated the tip of his thumb & needed help to put on the compression socks every day. I ordered this & came home to rave reviews -- he could manage it despite the hand injury. It was easy to assemble & actually applied the socks in a manner that was smoother & easier on the fabric than when I rolled them up & struggled to put them over his feet & legs -- he gave the device a 9/10!
