We paid like 180 for this and it does nothing for our small room it was 106 outside today and it registered 95 in our room(we had 2 high power fans on besides this) even alone it barely does anything unless it is right next to you and even still with a small blanket on it does nothing to keep us cool. Total junk! We cannot even return it because we junked the boxes it came in and Amazon wants it in the orignal box! Never buying a cooler from Amazon again!

This little thing produces a lot of cold air. I use it everyday while I work. It keeps my area nice and cool. Sometimes too cool. I do find myself turning it off sometimes because the wind is cold. Purchased additional ice packs to make sure that the air stay cool.

Live central valley CA. Did not cool my room. Kept replacing ice pack every 4-5hrs. Temp did not go lower than 79. Power not strong. But if your room is small and live in a cooler area it may work for you. Had to return it.

Sadly the air purifier started beeping after few month of working everytime I turned it on. I removed the filters and tried to adjust and fit them properly but beeping would not stop. And I assumed the filter needs replacement and hence I bought a new filter spent another $65 for that. But sadly even after replacing the filter it keeps beeping. Sheer waste of money, and now I dont know what to do with the unit and the new filter. Big Waste… Hoping that the seller reaches out and gives me a resolution

After reading many reviews (which strangely are now much lower than when I made this purchase) I was hoping this would provide some cooling to my living room but it does not. It’s just an overpriced fan at my house and not a cooler. I use cold water from the fridge and 2 of the cold ice packs and it does not in any way reduce the room temperature. It provides a lower temperature of 2 degrees (according to the unit thermometer vs my room thermostat). If I sit 1 to 2 feet from the fan and don’t move further away I can feel somewhat cool air. The fan has 3 speeds and even at top speed the fan is weak. I kept trying it with different weather and room temperature conditions but it does not perform as stated. I’ve unfortunately missed the return window and am stuck with this useless product—such a waste of money!

Does not cool even a small bedroom at all. After setting it up, the fan didn't even run. I discovered that the electrical wires were entangled around the fan blades. Very poor assembly. I did manage to remove the covers (no help from the manual) to access the interior and fixed that problem. Still hopeful, I again filled it with water and added 2 of the included cold packs which I had previously chilled in the freezer. The control panel is easy to understand and operate; however, this unit produced no cool air. The oscillating fan I was previously using produced a more cooling effect by moving the already hot air in the room. The room temperature reading on the control panel actually increased as the fan speed increased. Huh?? I am so disappointed with this product. At best, it is a very ineffective and small box fan. I will be returning this item. Don't waste your money : (

I was looking for something for my office area since I work from home and upstairs gets warm. I notice a huge difference and it's more comfortable. It's good for the money and easy to fill up.

Should have noted the many poor reviews, but I thought I might luck out and get a good unit. Initially it worked pretty well, but I had to tilt it slightly to keep the "dripping noise" to a minimum. After the first cleaning - which is no easy task - most of the back side has to be removed to access the internal tank, it worked well for a while. Then one day the dripping sound returned AND water started running out of the right side filter. Tilting the unit slightly to the left stopped the "leak", but any movement of the unit caused it to return. I even had to place it inside a large pan to protect the carpet. The final straw was last night when nothing would help the steady dripping sound. I can now agree with many other viewers - these types of Chinese products are truly junk. I'm finding very few quality products from Amazon that are not "brand names".
