Replacement Earpad Cushions for Parrot Zik (Zik1, Zik First Generation) Headphones

I’ve had my eyes on these for a while since my pads were getting worn out and couldn’t find a better pair of headphones of my liking. So, I gave it a try! Left side was simple and easy, but the right side with sensors was a little tricky. I did watch their YouTube video, but it was still a little difficult to remove and put them back into the new pads due to glue and stuff. But I’m satisfied with the outcome! Very good quality.

The ear cups fit and the electronic set up is quite straightforward if follow the DIY youtube video. At least it gives a new lease of life to the Zik which is needed after the original ear pad rotted away. Well worth investment on a pair of expensive headphone.

These are just like the originals. They weren't too difficult to replace and are very comfortable. The only drawback is that they are starting to tear at the seam, but that is after about 2 years of regular use. I will probably buy these again.

fantastic quality of the fit, it was like the original. Instructions were great, pay close attention to it, it is important as it has 2 sensors that needs to wired in. Good job on creating a replacement product that is as good as the Parrot Zik

They worked well and fit perfectly however they did not last as long as desired. Might look for an alternative.

I purchased these ear cushions for my headphones without the knowledge there are three generations of Parrot Zik . I contacted Ron of Ron's Electronic Sales about the problem and he issued a full refund and provided a pre-paid return label to return them . Ron also told me that HeadphoneMate has designed ear cushions for Zik 2 and Zik 3 but they haven't been released yet. They are currently in production now and will soon be available for sale on Amazon. So be sure to read before you buy and be sure to confirm what Zik model you own before buying. Zik 2 and 3 owners will hopefully be able to buy the new ear cushions before the end of September, 2017. Just an FYI. Ron of Ron's Electronic Sales is absolutely top notch. I want to make that really clear. He was incredibly responsive and absolutely had my satisfaction as his top priority! He will be my go to guy in the future for any electronic type purchases!

The quality of the product is bad. After installation, the leather very easy torn (as you can see in my pictures). And i have to put my superglue to attach it back.

The ear cushion replacement wasn't easy, but Ron made that clear before I bought them! However, the included video really helped make sure I was doing it correctly. The main problem is the little cables for the autoplay/pause and microphone, which are really fragile. Still, there is nothing that anyone could have done about this: it is a problem with Zik design. The ear cushions themselves are superb, and look brand new, and the sensors still work!

As expexted. Quality foam which reduce noise leakage and is comfortable. Youtube video for sensors cable installation. Takes about 10 mins (have to be careful)

Happy with the product

This is my 2nd buy. The 1st set : The rim delaminated after a year. But, good enough quality to use. Not easy to disengage/reconnect the cable especially the sensor; I broke the sensor cable trying. As long as my earphone is working, will have to continue replacing the cup.

In some images and when they arrived, they looked doughnut shaped, rounded. when fitted they took the proper shape. They feel great and I don't need to abandon my Parrot Zik version 1 headphones that I love. The fitting instructions are clear and account for the sensor in the cushion too. I read reviews that said their sensor didn't work afterwards, the instructions say they won't work if wired incorrectly. Just swap them. Also the instructions encourage the buyer to contact them if they have any issues. I didn't need to but it was nice to know I could if needed. My headphones are like new again.
