Vionic womens Brea Ankle Straps

First of all I typically do not buy a $110.00 shoe let alone a sandal, however I was very attracted to this style and have heard wonderful things about the orthopedic Vionics. I have a high instep and arthritis in my feet. So…. 95% of my shoes are size 8.5. I have a wide foot but a standard 8.5 is normal for me. The Amazon size suggestion for this sandal based on reviews suggested I order an 8. But, I thought I knew better and ordered the 8.5, The length was too long and they also rubbed my ankle bone on the sides … I returned #1 (easily). So I ordered the 8 as suggested. I tried them on a couple times but the width just wasn’t wide enough…. Returned #2. (Again easily). Ordered #3…. 8.5 wide! Like Goldilocks #3 was the charm. The width is good. The length perfect for me, I love the style and quality of this sandal. So…. If you tend to have a wide foot, order the wide and save youself and Amazon a lot of trouble. Looking forward to my first very comfortable and attractive orthopedic Vionic sandal! Good luck, and hope this helps. Wore these shopping for the first time today and they were really comfortable. A straight up teacher shoe! You can walk around in these for 10+ hours and your feet still feel great. I’m not saying I’m old, but I’m just saying my feet need a little extra support. These shoes provide extra omph while looking super stylish and letting your toes breathe. You can dress them up or down. Literally wore them to a wedding as a guest, and then on the bike trail the next day.

Great shoes!! I love Vionic shoes. Great if you need a shoe with a good arch. Very comfortable. I have multiple pairs of Vionic shoes.

Stylish Vionic sandals, comfortable toe post and moderate arch support. Top straps do not hug my feet, or even touch them, allowing the sandals to feel quite loose when I walk. There is no way to adjust the top straps, which is too bad because these sandals really are cute, and the quality is good!

These are the most comfortable sandals ever! Totally worth the price. Your feet will love you. Not too tight on the back. True to size. I purchased a 7. After a few years the strap stretched so this is my second pair. Be mindful, they are not a fan of water.

Sad. I always buy an 8 in Vionics (normal shoe size is 8.5) and it is my all time favorite sandal because I have high arches and their insoles support me well. Unfortunately, this style ran short in length. I then ordered the 8.5 and it was much too loose over the arch of my foot where the strap should be lying. I think MAYBE the reason the 8 runs short is because the heel strap may push your foot forward a bit too much. It’s a shame too because they are well made, comfortable and a great color in tan. Returning these..again.

Thank you to the reviewer who shared their experience with trying different sizes and ending up with a wide size. I have tried this t-strap style before (different makers) and not liked how my foot seemed large and wide in the front. I do not wear wide shoes, but I think I am just under wide width sizing, so I heeded the other reviewers' recommendation and ordered a wide size. The width is perfect. The height of the t-strap is fairly loose, so yhe shoe does seem to jog around. Ordinarily this would drive me nuts, but I was searching for these shoes because of some foot issues. I needed shoes with good arch support thar did not rub the top of my foot o er the arch, so these are actually great. The insert is particularly comfortable and there is some arch support, which is not common in this style shoe. The straps are elastic, so slip-on. We shall see how they hold up, but they went on well.

Beautifully soft leather, very comfortable, supportive and they fit perfectly. Suitable for casual and dressed up wear. Very pleased with my purchase.
