Awesome WiFi timers
We have both of these rainpoint timers, a single zone on the front yard and a 2-zones for the vegetable gardens and the backyard with different settings. They work wonderfully. Simple and easy setup from the phone app with all the settings you may ever need. Hooked to a water dripping system for maintenance free all year long. Highly recommended.

Good product, but was hoping for better integration with google home.
Good product, but was hoping for better integration with google home. It works with google home, BUT I made the mistake of adding devices to the RainPoint TUYA app (as directed by the basic instructions). If you want to integrate to google home you need to download the smart life app, and pair the same way as you would with the RainPoint TUYA app. The good news is regardless of if you pair using the smart life app or the RainPoint TUYA app, the interface, scheduling, rain delay, etc is all identical. The only gripe I have is more related to how google home views the devices. It sees the timers as switches, so you can add schedules for switches that work just fine, but you have less easy “plug and play” control like you would through the smart life app. I know google home works with other smart watering timers so it could be something they could work on. The reason I’d rather use google home is because my spouse doesn’t have all of the 3rd party smart apps downloaded and signed into, so it’s easier for her to just use one app for everything (lighting, HVAC, misc monitoring, and now irrigation) instead of needing 6 apps with different credentials. That’s why we like google home. Once I have some schedules/rules made via google home, it should be easier. I’ve been pleasantly surprised when google home has improved existing integration like in this scenario, so fingers crossed. I hope this helps anyone who is hoping to integrate with google home! It works, could be more clear in instructions on how to do it, and has some room for better usability on googles side

Good for a couple of years, could use better software
I'm on my second one - the first stopped measuring flow after about three years. I eventually decided to pull it apart and found the impellor was no longer turning freely. I did try to use descaler but that didn't help. In the hour the next one lasts longer i ordered another since the scheduled control works fine. The four AA batteries last about a year or so with a nightly operation. Two things I'd like to see improved in the software - the ability to set a maximum delivery amount per scheduled operation, and the ability to store more usage data. And i guess a user serviceable or replaceable impellor would make it last longer.

Reliable, versatile, good quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I ordered one about 6 months ago and was very happy with the quality brass fittings, ease of setup, connectivity and reliability. I have since ordered four more. I have read reviews saying the hub only supports three irrigation timers, but I have four connected to one hub and they work fine. I bought an additional timer, so I will need to buy an additional hub to support it. I love being able to modify settings remotely to adjust for weather and season. I also like being able to water based on time or quantity. Definitely a keeper.

Shame on me!
Ok I’m done. These things are garbage. Ashamed to say I was a repeat buyer. pairing is the most dubious task ever but the killer is when you do get it paired they keep dropping off-line it maintains the schedule, but I gotta walk out to the spigot and press the button if I want to irrigate my lawn any other time I’m done with these craps they’re not versatile. They’re not easy to use zero functionality poor value.

Decent
Nice when it works, but WiFi connectivity has been a challenge despite good proximity to the hub.

Great timer with durable metal connectors, WIFI / Alexa for easy control.
I purchased 2 of these to auto-water my flower pots, hanging baskets and window box planters because I often forget to water and my plants would die. I coupled them with a small diameter water hose kit designed for this purpose. It worked great. I wanted WiFi, Alexa integration, and iPhone control for easy to use app controlled scheduling. This timer had everything I was looking for, and unlike other timers with PLASTIC faucet connectors that develop cracks easily , this has quality metal fittings for durability and no leaks. Also I recently contacted customer service and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they responded and resolved one issue I had. I would definitely recommend.

Good product with flawed execution
When it works it is good. But at exactly one year...it stops. So this year I was curious why... The reason is because the board is not insulated against water... So, if they fix it (easy to use potting silicone), buy...
